Avoid This One
by dailycookie
They must've built this the year before stadium seating became standard. It's a modern, but tired looking (and feeling) multiplex in need of a complete overhaul. Sticky floors, stained seats, no stadium seating, bad lighting, dirty-feeling auditoriums, horrible concession food, nobody checking in for rowdy customers inside auditoriums...this place is so bad, me and my friends nicknamed this the "Ghettoplex" and avoid this theater at all costs. Try Pacific Place or Cinerama downtown. Or cross the lake to Lincoln Square Cinemas for the best multiplex experience around here.
- Pros: first run movies, location
- Cons: everything else

Multiplex and megaplex theater chain shows mainstream movies in a plush setting.
it's ok
by kee22
I think that it's an ok theater. I agree that the bigger theaters are definately better than the smaller ones. I haven't had any problems with the customer service people. The bathrooms are clean for the most part. The theater has a lot of showings for most of the popular movies.
- Pros: Ok theater, large movie selection
- Cons: no parking, kinda sketchy crowd at night
small theaters
by ltlmowse
As pricing goes, it's priced like all other theaters. I don't particularly care for this watching a movie here because if you don't watch a movie in the big theater, the smaller theaters are terrible. It's like paying $9.50 to watch a movie on a big screen tv.
- Pros: good location, great crowd
- Cons: small theaters...too small
Popcorn is always stale.
by amurphycheeser
OK. If you're going to charge movie theater prices for popcorn, at least deliver movie theater quality popcorn. Every single time I have gotten popcorn at this theater, it's always this cold, chewy, disgusting pile of granule that was PRE-POPPED HOURS AGO by whoever. What a rip.
Stop Going To The Movies!!!
by frnakblackstone
Until they start listing the time the movie starts (as opposed to when the commercials start) I think people should boycott the movies. I don't mind watching a few previews, but I don't want to watch car insurance commercials.
this threater keeps declining

Long lines and slow service at both the ticket and concession counters.
The floors are sticky and strewn garbage is the norm.
The seating is ridiculous. one or two rows in the center are actually lower than a few of the rows in front of them.
Maridian Downtown Cinemas

They have really let this theater go down hill. There's always a bunch of gang-bangers there. Also, they try to up-sale you on jelly-bellys even when they take your show ticket - very tacky!!
The place is dirty, needs a makeover, and the employee attitudes really suck - they are very hateful to say the least.
If they didn't bid out Pacific Place for the good movies - this place would be turned into a parking garage.
- Pros: Movies
- Cons: Dirty, Gang-bangers, Rude Staff
Atmosphere is Terrible
by ChrisCush
The only reason I go to this theatre is because it has all of the newest movies playing. THe crowd that usually attends movies here is loud and obnoxious and completely ruins my moviegoing experience. When you mention to management that there are people in the theatre constantly talking loudly and interrupting the movie, they look at you like it's your fault that you can't ignore them and watch the movie. I think I am going to catch movies on the East side from now on to avoid the crowd that usually attends movies here.
- Pros: Good Movie Selection
- Cons: Loud People, Rude Management, Small Screens
Go to Pacific Place
by domtar101
Only go to the "16" if you can't find the movie somewhere else!
- Pros: lots of movies
- Cons: little kids, dirty, ghetto
