My husbands food and our friends order the pots of crab n etc...and i ordered SALMON (COLD TOO) and there was tooo much stuff going on there
- Pros: it was fun, Man vs Food
- Cons: SLOW, long wait, cold FOOD
Should be called the CRAP-Pot

This is the worst Seafood in Seattle. Not only was the seafood dehydrated (the salmon was stuck to the skewers, it was so dry; shrimp was freezed dried looking and gross; everything was overcooked completely cold and nasty) and not edible, the service was non existent and the beer was warm. We actually had to go up to someone to ask for help. We were so bothered by our experience, we called the next morning to talk to the manager, who was not helpful and did not care. He was supposed to return my call, but did not. Furthermore, we wrote a letter (nice, but honest) to the corporate office to explain our dining experience. We never received a response. Obviously, they do not care about their customers. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. I am embarassed that our tourists may encounter such nastiness upon their arrival to Seattle should they happen to try it out. We do not get the opportunity to dine out often, especially expensive restaurants - what a disspointment.

Best. Crab legs. Ever.

We hesitated going here based on some of the reviews, but we had a great experience and great meal. I ordered the Alaskan King Crab legs. They were huge, fresh and delicious. The portion was so generous I thought I had gotten a double order on accident. The service was not great, but I would go again for sure because the crab legs are the best in Seattle!
- Pros: great food, great value
- Cons: service

My husband and I went to the crabpot the night before a Seahawks game while on our honeyhoom. So we were there on a Saturday night and even though it was crowded we had a ton of fun. We chatted with a gut here from St. Louis here to see the Rams play the Seahawks. I ordered the whole dungeness crab and I thought it was great. The lobster bisque was a wonderful appetizer and so were the crab cakes. My husband had the halibut and said it was wonderful. We wanted to try the cobbler for dessert but we were too full. We loved the layed back fun atmosphere and are planning to go back when we go to Seattle in November for the Seahawks game, we are planning to make this a yearly quest.
- Pros: loved the waterfront atomosphere
- Cons: the bar could be a little bigger
The Alaskan feast is the way to go.

Wonderful to eat there. The crab mushrooms are great and the Alaskan Feast is perfect if you are hungry or not, you will eat it all. We left a piece of potato and corn on the butcher paper but that was it.
Foul Foul Foul Seafood

This is one of the worst places I have ever been to. Its dirty, the bathrooms are foul, its expensive and the service is horrible. The waitress who could not have been more than 17, had an attitude from the start! They serve you this bucket of bland musty old seafood for 40+ bucks! They give you this bucket to put your shells and waste into and thank God! I ate a muscle and threw up in that bucket! We had guest in from the east coast and they wanted seafood since thats what we are known here for. I heard that this place was good and boy was I wrong. For the money the 4 of us spent we could have gone to Pike Place, bought fresh seafood and cooked it ourselves for half the price! I will never go back to this place even if you paid me to.

My new favorite seafood spot

I went to the Crab-Pot with a group for a birthday party. We had so much fun and the food was excellent. We all ordered the Alaskan seafeast. Our waitress put bibs on everyone and put butcher paper on the table. We were each given a mallet and a hammering board. She then came back with big bowls of crab, potatoes, corn on the cob, sausage, clams and mussels and prawns. She dumped these bowls on the butcher paper and we pigged out. It was the best food I have had in quite sometime and it was a really fun/social way to eat. I strongly recommend the Crab-Pot especially for groups. It was also nice to be down on the waterfront.
ratatouille

This restaurant used to be one of my favorite places.... but the last time i went with my friend, it happened to be the worst restaurant experience of my life. First of all, they sat us all the way in the back, facing the pier. The waitress hardly waited on us, and before our crab came, we saw a m ouse scurrying across the floor. We were anxious to leave, so we got our crab and we were trying to take off the shell to put it in a to-go box. My friend went to use the restroom, and while she was gone, I looked down to see the m ouse 2 inches away from my foot, staring up at me. I had been sitting next to a m ouse hole the entire time! I immediately panicked and got the waitress and told her that we were leaving. After all this, the restaurant actually had the nerve to charge us for the meal. They took off one soda, one coffee, and a measely 8 dollars, but we payed 72 dollars total for our meal. Would I ever go back to this restaurant? If I were taping the sequal to the disney movie Ratatouille!

Don't get suckered.

Hello, I finally went to Crabpot. My girlfriend, my buddy and his family and myself went there on a Saturday night. ( not a good day to go ) When we got there there was a long wait, about forty-five minutes. It was understandable since it was a weekend. We thought it was worth the wait. When we finally got seated we where put next to the window that had a cold draft coming throught. But we work throught it. We where so excited to eat, we where anticipating some real good seafood. I ordered the Alaskan crabbake as did my friend, twenty-seven ninty-nine per person, my girlfriend and my friend's family all had the fish and chips. Two adults price was around eight dollars and two kids was around five dollars. I ordered four Coronas and two taquila shots for me and my friend. Oh, and four oyster shooters. On the menu it was said that the Alaskan crabbake can feed up to two people, so I was expecting to have alot of seafood. When we got our order the waitress said that she combined the two order of Alaskan crapbake and she dump it all on the papered covered table and I must tell you, it did not looked like two orders of Alaskan crabbake. It had maybe one dungeness crab chopped up, less than half of snow crab, very few small oysters, very small clams that was over cooked and some pathetic amount of shrimps. Oh and we each got a salmon skewers. The fish and chips look good and they said it was good tasting. But for my friend and I, our dinners was so bad all the way around. The taste very mediocare, the size of the food was so small that my friend and I had to eat every last piece of food on the table because we were still hungry. Bottom line is, it cost me $91.00 for two people and my friend cost $65.00 for four people and two of them were kids. My suggestion to all. Do Not Eat at Crabpot. It's a big waste of money.
- Pros: fish and chips and the location of the restuarant.
- Cons: Price, qaulity and quantity of the crab bakes. Very overly price not justified by the food.
worst seafood we ever been, our hometown's chinese buffet is even better than this.
by joshualien at Citysearch
The shrimp color turn black, no taste at all.
The dungin crab leg's meat is still connected to the shell. that means the seafood is not fresh.
i can't belive the seafood is from Seattle. the shrimp and crab taste like frozen. not a fresh catch.
the price is very expansive. we paid $21.99/person for a big bucket full of potatos, corn, and clam, only very few shrimp and about 8 piece of crab leg.
majority of bucket are potato and corn. it's not worth for $44!
our hometown is not even close to the ocean, you can eat all you can eat snow crab for $12.99/person.
This is the worst seafood resturant we ever been is United States.
- Pros: The view
- Cons: The food and service
