I haven't gotten a lot of things from here..I agree with the previous reviewer, the prices are kind of high...but it's a great place to get costumes or just browse and have fun putting on hats and weird looking vintage clothes.

Pros: Vinage clothes, fun place

Cons: Kind of expensive

This place's trendy reputation has definitely inflated the prices over the past decade, and as hipsters become prepsters with an edge, the prices aren't likely to go down. The merchandise is some of the best around, and if you hunt, the deals are still there.

The Red Light has been a standard for getting your cool duds. Its been around for a long time (at least the UDistrict store has) and is one of the best places to find the funky cool clothing. The customer service ain't so good, lots of poser youngsters working there, offering you pennies for your good clothes when you want to sell, but overall its one of the better stores in Seattle.

Pros: Good Funky Clothing, Good Location, fair prices

Cons: employee attitudes, low buying offers

By far the biggest vintage store in town. Which means you have a better chance of finding something that fits. Great new stuff as well. I found a great pair of red lines in my size, staff was helpful and unpretentious. Also have a great selection of Records. Bought a T-Rex Lp , and a hard to find Sonics Lp. Highly recommended store.

Pros: inexpensive, great records, vast selection

Cons: parking difficult

Editor's Review

Two huge floors of campy, used and new vintage clothing create unlimited possibilities for outrageousness.  See the full editorial review.
