Don’t waste your time or money! My husband and I went for massages just recently. Any review that claims this is an “oasis” is absolutely misleading. We try out a different spa each month for our monthly massage date and will never return to this spa. I chose this place because of reviews on this site. My therapist had me change in one room and leave all of my belongings folded on a table in an unlocked room, to be moved to another room later. I really felt uneasy about leaving my purse and other belongings. In a typical spa, there is a separate changing area with locking lockers to secure your belongings. We were both brought to the “relaxation” area, which is anything but. They really need to block it off from the noise. Staff members are constantly walking back and forth, the hallway was noisy and there was a lot of loud talking and doors slamming. It was not serene. Neither massage was very good, they were lackluster at best. After our massages, we felt rushed. We were told to get dressed in the same room as our massages. We were each asked if we wanted to purchase any products, then led to the front desk waiting area. Again, in a typical spa- you are taken back to a relaxation area, in your robe ,for as long as you wish. Typically you are offered water, tea, etc. before taking whatever time you need to get cleaned up and dressed. Not at this spa. There is not an opportunity to relax afterwards; you can’t take a shower, nothing. It really was a very poor experience. I can not speak about the salon area as I did not tryout any of those services. Salon services appear to be in a separate area. There are some great pampering spas in the Seattle area. This is not one of them! We would NOT recommend to our friends.
Pros: none
Cons: Can't relax or shower after services

I tried this place out last week and it was just what i expected. At the very least it was much more enjoyable than my first facial at some little rinky dinky place. This place isnt huge but instead of say small I would definatly say it was cozy. My facialist knew what she was doing and my face has never looked better. Ill be back:)
Pros: Skill, atmosphere
Cons: can be a bit pricey, but worth it

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday to this spa, and I wanted to wait until the perfect time to have my first manicure here. By recommendation of a friend, I knew that I should schedule a spa manicure, which includes being in your own private room, not being bothered by the nuisance of having to look at your hands being filed and scrubbed. I was very happy with my experience, as they were not focused (after ensuring the health of my nail beds) on applying a layer of polish. Instead, I was seated in a comfortable chair which was then reclined, given the option of putting on a robe and slippers, and then pampered extensively by a wonderful technician. One nice added touch, was a herbal juice infusion drink that I was offered to follow up with the treatment. It was refreshing! I will definitely make it a point to come back here, and try out some of the other treatments that are offered.
Pros: relaxing, comfortable, friendly technicians
Cons: reception was on the cold side..oh well.

The aesthetician kneaded my face like a piece of dough. Very heavy-handed. It was appalling. By far, the worst facial I have ever had. Will never go back. So disappointing.
Pros: decor

The staff here were very helpful. I stumbled upon this Day spa while shopping and set up an appointment at the last minute. My appointment started a little late but not by much, I didnt have a problem with it since I set up my appointment at the last minute and they bascially fitted me in. Everyone was very nice and accomodating. The atmosphere was very relaxing, it's the cliche serene music, low lighting, robe and slipper spa, I loved it! Even thought my appointment didn't start on time, I could tell this is not the norm and the fact I basically was a walk in I had no problem with it. Plus they gave me my polish free. I do not live in Seattle but visit every year and I will get to Spa Nordstrom when I do.
Pros: atmosphere, customer service

My experiences with this Spa are always sublime. The atmosphere is relaxing and upscale, private treatment rooms are spacious, staff is friendly and experienced, products and services are awesome! If you like pedicures, you HAVE to try the Spa Pedicure... I truly got the best one of my life from Anthony. And for facials, book in advance to get an appointment with Parvin, she works miracles. The famed Nordstrom Customer Service obviously extends upstairs to the Spa!
Pros: Professional Staff, Tranquil Environment, Central Location

Spa Nordstrom is great. It is extremely serene, tranquil and relaxing while at the same time as clean as a doctor's office. Everyone that I have encountered who works there is very talented and friendly. While it is expensive I feel like I definitely get my money's worth there.
Pros: Clean, Discreet, Friendly

I don't understand the negative comments toward this spa either. I'm definitely a repeat Spa Nordstrom customer. Maybe the decor isn't as opulent, but it is tasteful. It is the service, privacy, professionalism, and descretion that I like the most. I think the services are *wonderful* especially the hot stone massage. I've been to other spas where you feel like you are bumping into other clients or left unattended to, but this spa is not like that. I find it to be a very beautiful serene, and relaxing experience. I adore this spa.
Pros: serene, professional, relaxing
Cons: expensive, no last minute appts.
