This is my first time to Typhoon! We had a large party of 12 people for Dinner last Saturday night. Our waitress was attentive and patient. Which is sometimes tough with such a large group. The decor is well done, modern, yet colors are warm and inviting. The menu has a large variety of Thai style cuisine to choose from and a huge tea menu. We all ordered something a little different and shared plates. For the most part the flavors were well done. The chicken entrees tended to be quite dry. The Forget-me-not curry with pork was tender and flavorful. The crab phad thai wasn't the best I ever had, but was acceptable. Salmon was well executed. The Chicken Curry was dry and not as flavorful as I would have liked. The Tom Yum Goon soup had a nice lemony flavor and a spicy kick, but there were only 3 prawns in it and the chopped chicken was dry. It doesn't look too appetizing when it comes to the table either. The potstickers were tasty. You have your choice of white or brown rice. After hearing about the Espresso creme brulee we had a couple of orders. It was tasty, but there was barely a hint of coffee flavor. Still worth eating though! Overall we had a nice dining experience, but I'd stick to the basics when ordering.
Pros: Service, Atmosphere, Potstickers
Cons: Chicken curry, Tom Yum soup
