This veteran fine-dining landmark and catering company is ready to spoil the palate on special occasions.
Great for events
by toddydyer
The company that I work for hosted a client appreciation night at Kaspars and it was a great success! The entire evening was out of this world. The food, the great cozy warm atmosphere and location were top notch. Clients loved the inventive appetizers including flatbreads, chicken quesadillas, and delectable crab spring rolls. Kaspars went above and beyond to make the night a success. The staff is very professional and everyone commented on how easy the entire night was to execute. We used the Elliott Bay room at Kaspars for food and drinks and the Fireside Room for a presentation. We cannot wait for our event again this year - and of course it will be at Kaspars!
- Pros: ambience, service, food selection
- Cons: parking

i went to Kaspars for the first time last week and really enjoyed the food. the prices are reasonable, parking is good, service was OK. it is a great place to dine before the theatre, opera, etc.
Great food; great value

Kaspar's is one of those rare places that the food is consistently good without the cost being in the highest tier of expense.
very disappointing
by masegesta
a pre holiday meal was terribly disappointing. Our host who promptly let us know they were out of bread, steak, and lamb. How does one run out of bread when there is a Safeway on the next corner? The fish was served cold, the hungarian goloush didn't show any signs of paprika, and the chicken was swimming in a cranberry chutney like substance. However on a positive note, the spinach salad was delicious... although I had to fight an over zealous wait staff for it as he tried to clear my plate several times before I was finished. Perhaps they need a refresher course in how utensils are placed on a plate to signify the patron is finished. Meal was well over priced for something most of us could have prepared far better in our own kitchens. Truly disappointing and would not recommend you spend your money there.
- Pros: location
- Cons: , service, prices
Kaspar's

Kaspar's is a truly unique dining experience, the menu is like nothing i've seen, it combines the local favorites of seattle with the technical knowhow if its owner's european background.
the 8.8 rating does not do this restaurant justice. i HIGHLY reccomend it
- Pros: Menu has variety, Great Wait Staff, good portions
Fantastic!

I went to Kaspar's with friends for the prix fixe meal. We all enjoyed our dinners completely. The service was great. We started with cocktails and our servers timing was just right. Can't wait to come back for the wine tastings!
- Pros: Great Food!, Perfect Cocktails!, Great Service
fair fare

let's start with the good - kaspar's had a wonderful ambiance. lovely interior, soft lights, etc. and great parking. the rest is mediocre. service was slow, food was good but not even close to great. wine prices are crazy - some bottles are over $200. i definitely expected more from this restaurant, was pretty disappointed.
