After finding the perfect girl I needed to find the perfect diamond ring. I didn't know where to start, but Chelsea at E.E. Robbins made it easy. On my first visit to the store, Chelsea spent well over an hour teaching me about diamonds, how they are graded and what those differences really look by showing me various diamonds. At no point was there any pressure to buy. Armed with this new found knowledge I checked out some other jewelers, but ended up back at E.E Robbins. Others may have had similar selection or prices, but none compared to E.E. Robbins in customer service. Chelsea even helped out when it came time to pop the question. I was looking for a heart shaped box for the proposal, but I hadn't found one yet. When I went to pick up the ring, Chelsea offered to make me a box herself. Not being the artistic type myself, I took her up on the offer. It turned out perfect! In the end I had only one small complaint. The original ring was not perfectly round in shape. It took a couple of trips to the store before they figured out that this was the reason the ring didn't fit quite right. The ring had to be sent back to the manufacturer for a replacement. In the meantime, E.E. Robbins mounted my fiancees diamond in a temporary setting so she could still wear it. The replacement ring ended up fitting correctly, so all was well in the end.

Pros: Customer serivce, low pressure

I wasn't really looking forward to the whole "ring process" and was actually a little nervous to go into E.E.Robbins in Belltown. I shouldn't have been. The staff treated me like a friend walking into their living room and I ended up having a really fun experience. I'm very analytical and ask alot of questions, but they were patient and answered everything very intelligently without ever putting any pressure on me to buy. Even though I shop online for almost everything, I didn't want to buy a ring that we will have for the rest of our lives without touching it and picking out the diamond for it. My fiance loves the ring and they sized it for her in an afternoon so she didn't have to go without it for a night. I am so glad that I found a place that is a local business that employs caring knowledgable people, has a great selection and gave me an awesome value on my ring. I will send all of my friends there.

I went to EE Robins, not knowing anything about engagement rings or diamonds. EE Robins taught me to look at quality. I became dangerous with knowledge. It is not about the price of the diamond that makes the sale, it is the connection to the ring and diamond that sells. That is how one should by a ring. You must feel and know the ring is right. The sales team are above any sales person I ever encountered before. The owner ( Emerson ) taught the staff to help the customers find the right ring, regardless of price. I have gone to other places and the high price was first pushed then the quality was never that good, so other engagement stores would show me expensive rings of lower quality and push on the sale to the point you had to leave. At EE Robbins, they sat with you; got to know you; then helped you find that perfect ring. I wanted to suprise my wife with the ring, and again did not know anything and the sales people at EE Robbins were very patient with me as I had something to drink ( wine or soda) as they listened carefully to what I had to say and want. The ethics of this company is the basics... The ring sells itself and the connection sales team is only there to educate you. I feel that everyone will get the best quality at EE Robbins. After I proposed to my wife Rebekah, the owner of EE Robbins wanted us to do a commercial for them, as I rented out the Pacific Science Center's Planetarium to propose to her. They even wrote a book on different ways people proposed and we were on there as well. I would never go anywhere else to buy a ring or upgrade on diamonds for my wife as I have truly found the best place in the world.. Great Service, Friendly Staff, No pushing items, They listen and care to your needs and the most important thing is to educate you to get the best item for your beloved. Sincerely George and Rebekah Villega

Pros: Great Service, Friendly Staff, No pushing items, They listen and care to your needs and the most important thing is to educate you to get the best item for your beloved.

Cons: none

What a great experience I had in purchasing my engagement ring from EE Robbins in Seattle! There is enough trepidation involved in trying to plan the perfect engagement without the additional stress and worry of picking out the ring. Thanks to Pam and Jon, the entire process of choosing my ring was stress-free and actually a bit fun. For those people who don't know the first thing about diamonds (me), they take the time to essentially give you a DIAMONDS 101 class on all of the details so you can become an informed buyer. My price range and comfort level was established during my initial visit and I NEVER felt any additional pressure to purchase a diamond out of that range. In fact, I got the sense that they were sincerely interested in helping me choose the perfect diamond moreso than the most expensive one. Aside from the professionalism, customer service, and knowledge of the sales staff the overall "feel" of the store was great. From the moment I walked in I was offered water, soda, a snack, or even a glass of wine to enjoy while I looked. Of course, I chose the wine which made things that much more relaxed. Simply not enough good things to say. I highly recommend EE Robbins in Seattle to anyone interested in purchasing an engagement ring!

Pros: Customer service, knowledge, selection

i have dealt with them in the past and it was not a great experience... They seem like used car salesmen, trying to get you to buy the most expensive ring possible. Obviously, they need to charge a very high markup in order to pay for their ubiquitous radio advertisements. Don't believe their marketing hype, do your own research, and find a different store that will treat you better. i first of all went in for a tacori ring and the salesman spoke me out of and into a coast ring big mistake ...i had the ring less than 3 months and a diamond fell out they repaired it a month later the same stone fell out ...they repaired it 2 months later the center stone prong ( i think that is what they call it)had a defect in it i took it back and had them remove my stone and put a fake stone in and i sold the setting on craigslist...there customer service was awful blaming me for being tough on the ring....i will never return to the store ...i finally got my tacori from lt denny she is alittle shop near all the stadums downtown...she was great to deal with and the tacori ring was as advertised hope this helps and it was not posted to late

Cons: You're paying for them to run their annoying radio ads every 15 minutes.

I've lived in Belltown for years and as a single person would wander in occasionally and look around. I was always treated great - just as if I was really shopping for a ring, although I made it clear I was not. When I really WAS shopping for a ring it was the first place I went. Although I didn't wind up buying there (I went for an antique setting) Pam and John were excellent. John even offered to pick up my parking ticket when I got one outside the store, not realizing there is a lot next to the store. That's great customer service!!

Pros: Great, Personable

Cons: None come to mind

This store is an exceptional place with amazing customer service. Nice people, free beverages, and low pressure. You will not feel hurried, nor will you end up buying anything other than something you are completely happy with.

Pros: Great Service, Low Pressure, Good Selection

This shop was amazing. Not only was the experience as high-end as any, as elegant as tiffany's in its own, seattle way, but the service was unbelievable. I didn't consider myself knowledgable about diamonds and yet was completely comfortable knowing i was getting the very best diamond in the exact design i was looking for. And she loved it.

What a great experience all the way around! When I first went there I looked kinda gross from a bike ride but they still gave me royal service. They answered all my questions no matter how silly. They where absolutely NO HARD SELL at all. The couple of salespeople I worked with just wanted me to find the diamond (later the ring) that spoke to me within my budget. I ended up with a FABULOUS ring! I have been back since to purchase diamonds for earrings as well.

Pros: Service, Knowledge, Relaxed Atmosphere

Cons: None
