Not a huge fan of the customer service here. Once they realized I wouldn't be spending a ton of cash and was "just looking" I got the cold shoulder. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a black card....

Pros: Selection of namebrands...

Cons: Price, Customer Service, Attitude...

I've been going here for years and it is a great experience every time- even if you're just looking! The selection is wonderful and the customer service stellar! You can get everything you need for a special night out in this one store. Don't let the parking stop you- that just part of the ballard charm!

Pros: excellent customer service, designer lines

I read some of the reviews about snobishness at Olivine, I have to say this was the case a few months ago. But... snobby girl is gone!! Now really great and friendly girls are working. Georgia is so helpful eveytime I come in and the new girl Karen, also make up artist, is so sweet. I was able to come in a find the perfect dress for an up comming event. I also think that what the owner is doing with sustainable lines is just fabulous!!! Really great new lines, Beau Soleil, and Emily Katz, just to name a few.

Pros: Great NEW sustainable lines

Cons: costly

The shop itself was nice. It was decorated nicely and well put together. The variety of designers was nice, but the customer service was awful !!!! Extremely snobby girls !!

I've had brazilians done at many different places, but never liked any of them to keep going back to the same person or place. CJ at Olivine was very warm and friendly and made me feel relaxed from the moment I met her. Brazilians are of course never painless, but this was as close as it gets. She was very quick and always concerned about how I was doing, not to mention very thorough. Olivine is a really hip and trendy store with this little clean and relaxing "beauty lounge" in the back. I'll definitely go back to CJ for all of my waxing needs!

Today was my first trip to Olivine and I loved it! The really helpful staff helped me pick out a gift for my best friend and even wrapped it and then they told me about their new esthetician and her super waxing! She had an appointment available and CJ did an outstanding job (and I'm really picky)! I will definitely be a regular now!

Olivine has added a new twist to its' already successful shopping experience -- the beauty bar! If you haven't booked an appointment with Rebecca, you MUST put a facial and an eye brow wax on the top of your to-do list. Rebecca has a ton of experience, and the products are delightful. Now Olivine truly has something for every inch of your body.

First of all, nicest ever store owner!! Super cute store, attractively arranged and decorated. Your one stop shopping for date night! Everything from frilly underclothes to make-up, boots to jacket, and everything in between. Love it!

I have been coming into Olivine for years. I adore this little shop and the staff that work there! They have unique items that I have not seen elsewhere. I read a review that they are overpriced...they can be a little spendy. However, I believe that spending a little more to not look like a Nordstrom clone is worth it, and their items are great quality. As far as the staff...these girls are my bootie divas. They absolutely will tell you the truth about the way jeans fit you and whether or not that look good on you. That is one of the many reasons why I now will only purchase jeans from them. Honest staff, unbelievable jean selection! Rebecca Wendfeldt...skin and eyebrow extraordinaire! I have been going to her for a very long time and followed her all around Seattle. I am delighted that she is back at Olivine as an in-house esthetician! My brows have never looked better! If you have not had her do your brows you are missing out! She is THE BEST! Oh yeah, and she cleared up my blemishes when I was younger...she's magic! Go treat yourself at this little gem in Ballard, you will wonder why you didn't go in sooner!
