My sister and I went on this tour, it was great!!!! It takes you all around seattle, and even as locals teaches you something about the history of Seattle. I would completely do this again, well worth the time and money.
- Pros: informative, entertaining, funny, serious, educational
- Cons: next time I would book the bus with all friends and family i know
Fun, Fun, FUN!

I had a great time on Jake's tour "Queen Anne Murder Mystery". Myself and 6 of my family/friends went on the tour and it was great fun. I plan on going on other tours offered by Private Eye.
- Pros: Comfortable van, friendly tour guide
Seattle's seedy underbelly comes to the fore on this bone-chilling true crime tour.

The Background
Windsor Olson, a semi-retired private investigator with over 40 years of experience, squires tourists and locals alike on an insider's tour of Seattle's many crime scenes.
The Experience
The fun begins when the blood-red van picks you up at any downtown restaurant or hotel--but don't be afraid to get in. Your host, Windsor, is a true gent. He'll chauffeur you around Seattle, stopping at various points to talk about the crimes, both solved and not, that happened in these spots. He's a storyteller par excellence, with a charm and humor that lightens the tour's potentially morbid tone. Olson's bagful of props adds to the ambience, one by one illustrating these tales. You haven't lived until you've grasped the serving fork used by "The Great Raoul" to cook and eat his wife and child.
Great tours!

I've been on 2 of Jake's tours -- the Capitol Hill crime scene tour (I also went on mine on 8/30/02, my birthday) and the Haunted Happenings tour on 10/27/02. We LOVED both of them. Jake is great at getting detailed about the lives of the people who met an unfortunate fate, and takes you not only to their spot of death, but also to some places they frequented prior to their deaths. I must say that the Haunted Happenings tour has some chilly spots, and Jake even gets dressed up for that one! I plan to go to her Queen Anne crime scene tour next. This is a great tour for those who live in Seattle and for tourists as well.
- Pros: detailed crime knowle, touch and hold weapon, good speaker
GROSSLY enlightening

I just returned from this tour on 8.30.02. Had a great time with Jake and found her to be very well informed on not only the notorious side of Seattle, but all aspects of the city itself. I am a true crime fanatic so this tour was right up my alley (and we went through some of those alleys). Saw many sites of mysterious cases, and some final and some not so final resting places of some celebrities. I think it was great. Hope everyone takes advantage of this tour if they have the time. You see parts of Seattle you won't see on a regular tour.
- Pros: good value, she meets you, knowledgeable
- Cons: none
