Just announced that they are closing

Went to Yoga yesterday and they had a posting that they will be closing Nov 9th. This place was a really nice place to practice yoga so I am sad that they are closing. The instructors all found out the day before. Several people bought a pre-paid pass just this week which will not be honored when they close.

Experience Not Great Anymore

I was a huge fan of The Sanctuary. It was the calm in my day everyday. Then instructors started changing, things got inconsistent. I went on a trip and came back to a place with a different feeling. They were great. Not anymore in my book. Many students I know have stopped going and teachers are departing too. Too bad, this was a wonderful place. Oh. and their customer service is not great at all.

Real Yoga on the East Side---Finally

Finally, a studio on the East Side that offers all styles (hot yoga, vinyasa, hatha, detox, meditation etc.) of yoga and some really interesting workshops that help understand the true teachings of yoga. My favorite so far is Amber. She really knows her stuff but is still approachable and encouraging. They have showers and fair package prices and a spa next door that I hope to make it to soon. I've heard it's really nice.

Most Amazing Yoga in the NorthWest!!!

The yoga studio at the Sanctuary Spa and Yoga is beautiful. Every instructor I have encountered has been incredibley knowledgeable and supportive. The best thing about The Sanctuary is that they are the only studio that offers such a diverse schedule. They have Hot Yoga, Power Vinyasa in a heated room, more gentle Sanctuary hatha yoga for the days I don't feel like heat, Chanting and some really fun workshops that no other studios seem to be offering. Even better is that you can go next door to the spa after yoga for a real treat!

Best Yoga in Redmond

I love the Sanctuary. I think the staff is incredibly friendly, the massages are outstanding & the overall experience has always been a real treat for me. I also LOVE their Yoga program & think it is the best on the Eastside. I miss Roz, though...she did the best eyebrows in the whole Seattle metro area!

Absolutely Wonderful!

Its hard to see where the other unfavorable reviews are coming from for this establishment. I was delighted with the quality of service i received and the Spa treaments are among the best I have ever received. Not only do I feel warm and comfortable when I am greeted at the door, but I leave with a sense of total satisfaction and calmess about me. It especially helps that I am not hounded into signing away my life savings for year long memberships. It sure is nice to have someplace i can go to relax every once in a while to get away from it all!

Best yoga spa in Redmond!

An amazing spa retreat that has yoga classes as well! The Vichy shower body treatments are luxurious! I would also recommend a hot stone massage! It was a dreamy ritual-like experience with lots of extra bonuses! The stream of tranquility adds to the already calm ambience. I haven't felt that relaxed in years!

The friendly staff awaits your arrival and offers up a eucalyptus-infused steam shower before your massage, body treatment or facial. Eastside and Seattle regulars come in for a wide assortment of yoga classes, including hot yoga.

The Services
Try the Turkish body scrub. As you lie beneath the Vichy shower, you'll be scrubbed down with a mineral-rich thermal salt followed by a heavenly, warm rinse. Afterward, a shower gel is applied by loofah and again followed with a rush of water from the many showerheads above you--all culminating in a soft, silky body. Extra care is taken to keep all the right parts covered and dry.

Wonderful facial

I got a facial at The Sanctuary and couldn't have been happier with my experience. I loved the complimentary steam shower and foot soak. The products they used were great and there was no pushy sales pitch to buy them.

Terrible Place

As a long time goer of this spa I was disappointed with the service that I received. Things have changed and not for the better, save your money and go elsewhere!!!!
