Cons: value

I love this place. The lighting is soft, the tables are cozy. Every table is the romantic one although we've gone with friends and it doesn't feel odd having the candle light, it feels natural. The food is always delicious no matter what we've gotten. I find myself eating more than I'm hungry for because I enjoy the flavor. I never feel rushed, I'm always happy and satisfied when I go here. I prefer it hands down over the other big Italian place in Bellevue.
Pros: Really good food, wonderful enviroment, never a long wait
Cons: none

This is a really nice choice in Bellevue if you enjoy contemporary Italian dishes. Very warm atmosphere, nice choice of wines, attentive staff. Our large table sampled a variety of appetizer dishes such as the bruschetta, grilled italian sausage (live flame grill), calamari, and prawns scampi. For the main course, we really loved the chicken piccata. Lovely chicken sauteed in chardonnay wine, lemon capers and butter. We had two kids at our table and requested to please eliminate the accompanying vegetables! The wait staff was very understanding with our changes. There's a great carbonara with very generous bacon and cream sauce. The tortellini in prosciutto seemed to be another favorite at our table. Some of the adults just went with spaghetti or lasagna and everyone was so pleased with their dishes! I almost forget, a few folks tried the "de mare" or seafood options and were quite pleased with their pasta and seafood. All in all, we would really recommend going to Andiamo's.

We had dinner and dessert at your restaurant and it was absolutely wonderful! Not only did the chef prepare fabulous food but the wait staff was so attentive, helpful and courteous to us! She was great. It's so nice to dine at a fine restaurant where we can ask the chef to make minor changes to the menu and the waitress was so attentive to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andiamos and will certainly return again. :)

Dinner for 4 on a special occasion night. We chose a Sunday night in hope of uncrowded Bellevue and a peaceful dinner. We chose correctly. The food was quite good, the waiter attentive (though a bit "over-the-top") and a nice atmosphere. The prices would be $$-$$$, not the single dollar ($) as indicated. However, we would definitely return.

After finding what I thought was the perfect place to spend a romantic anniversary with my boyfriend reservations were made. Boy was I wrong about this place. When we arrived they had no idea that we had reservations and sat us in a crowded corner where they forgot about us for quite some time. How they forgot about us I don't know since we were seated next to a 3 year old who banged his plates with silverware, screamed at the top of his lungs, and ran all over the place. After our disappointing and pricey appetizers we decided to get the rest to go so we might get a chance to enjoy our special night. Wrong again. The food ( which was on my lap) leaked on the way home. When we opened the containers the serving sizes were ridiculously small. Back to Andiamo's we went to return the food. Finally, after arguing and insulting my boyfriend they gave us our money back. The night which were suppose to be romantic was ruined. Thank you Andiamo.
Pros: there aren't any
Cons: everything

From the moment we walked in the cook was shoving food down his mouth behind the food line. The wine was way overpriced, the service was average and are server had his shirt unbuttoned half way down exposing his hairy chest. The calamari was very fishy and it was like chewing a rubber band. When we received are 17$ ravioli I counted 8 pieces of pasta and they where very small. The food overall was not something I would care to consume again. I will never return !!!!!!!!
Pros: the ambience was very nice
Cons: the food and the kitchen staff

I did a TON of research to choose my husband's birthday dinner reservation and after speaking to friends and reading the reviews on CS - we chose Andaimo. I was nervous because when I made my reservation, the person who answered the phone could barely speak a lick of English and kept asking me the same questions over and over. What should have taken 5 minutes to make a reservation took 15 because of the ineptitude of the host. I was assured by friends that their experience was excellent. Arriving on time for our reservation we walked in and stood there while employees stared at us for a few monents and said nothing. I informed them kindly that we had a reservation and the woman literally grunted at us and started walking away. She walked to a table (very small restaurant) and pointed at it and said "Here" to us as if to call us like animals. We sat for over 20 minutes without water, bread or a server. When someone finally came - he had NO idea about anything on the menu, the bar, or the specials. Long story short (if this is considered short! HA!), the food was hot, it tasted okay - nothing spectacular - , and the service was horrid. I won't be returning ever. Not an expensive place but definitely not worth it!
Pros: Free Parking, Decent Food, Nice Ambiance, Extensive Wine List
Cons: HORRID Service, Inept Staff, Chilly Temp. Inside, Mostly Seafood

I had the Tagliatelle and it was SSSOOOO good. My fiance had the Carbonara, also good. We have been trying to find an Italian restaurant that is some where in the vicinity as good as Steps of Rome (in San Francisco). This one comes closest. The staff were very nice and accomodating. The only thing weird was that when we called to make a reservation they said they were booked until 8:30, but said to come early or call and they would let us know if it dies down. We had stuff to do, so by the time we got there it was 8:30. There were six tables occupied, two of which were just getting ready to leave as we sat down. Prices are some what high: $15-$22 per pasta plate. But the taste makes it all worth it.

The food for this place was alright, nothing to go wow over. It was overpriced so i don't understand why citysearch rated this place with $ when it should be $$$. Average prices on dishes are around $20. They charge extra to add meat or shrimp. Less if you just have pasta but thats boring. There isnt a large selection of dishes to choose from either. My friend did like the lasagna dish though. It's just to expensive for my taste. I rather go eat sushi for the amount i paid here.
