Best burgers in town
by zot79 at Citysearch
We go here for burgers and fries, and occasionally the shakes. We haven't tried the chili, that's something new. Fatburger won us over because it's better than most chains and quicker and cheaper than Red Robin. Yes, they can be crowed. And sometimes its difficult to communicate with the counter staff. But they are always friendly and eager to please and the food comes out pretty quick.
- Pros: great burgers, good fries and shakes
- Cons: sometimes difficult to order
TERRIBLE experience!

My husband and I decided to give Fatburger a try, since I've heard about them, and I've never been there before. I ordered a turkey burger with a cup of chili (mind you, a cup of chili was $3.00). When our food finally came out, the cup of chili was very small, half empty, and it looked like something you would find in a porta potty. No beans, extremely oily, and the meat was literally liquified. I tried it, and it tasted like the worst burnt meat I have ever tasted. How can they charge $3.00 for this? Is it universally like that, or is this one just a bad branch?
The people who work at the Redmond branch spoke no english at all, so when I tried to get my money back, they didn't understand, and I just gave up. Terrible service, and WAY overpriced! The burger was decent, but for the money we spent, we could have gone out to a nice restaraunt with 10 times better food.
I will never go there again, and am curious as to why they're still in business... atleast the one we went to.
Do all the franchises have the same disgusting chili?
- Pros: The burger wasn't terrible...
- Cons: Way overpriced, and the worst chili I have ever seen AND tasted...
Average Burger

Nothing special in my book. The meat to bun ratio was just acceptable. This really should be much higher given the price. Pros: The patty was fine and there was lots of lettuce, tomato and onion on top. Cooked right, not overdone, and slightly pink in the center. Nice counter help and good service on my visit. Clean dinning room and restroom. Cons: Typical mushy white bun, un-toasted. Yellow mustard and mayo spread a bit too thick. The fifties decor has been done to death. I find it boring. The fries and onion rings were mundane. Offers a slight improvement over the average chain burger but not anywhere near a great burger, not even close.
- Pros: Clean
- Cons: Overpriced
The best burgers

I love Fatburger. I wish they had them in MI. To me, they have the best burgers. I haven't had cold fries that some ppl complained. The service was ok...the restaurant is very busy, but to me, it's worth it for the burgers.
- Pros: great burgers
- Cons: kinda expensive for a burger
Best chili frieis

I never knew there were Fatburger chains in the U.S. The one I go to when I'm in B.C. is great. The thick long chili fries are great. My husband loves the burgers.
I see one is opening in Federal Way. If I find the product to be lacking, I will let the manager know. If he does not improve on it, I'd tell the customer service people who own the Fatburger name. People, if you like the food, complain to someone so it's improved. Don't let a poor restaurant manager ruin your Fatburger experience. No one makes thick fries like them, so I will make sure they are up to par when the place opens!
- Pros: Best thick chili fries
- Cons: The store for Federal Way is not opened yet, opinion based on B.C. restaurant
Worth the price

The burgers are definitely on the big side, with the triple kingburger combos easily your 2000 calories for the day. Whilst the cost is on the pricey side, the burgers are by far the best I have had anywhere. The restaurants have a consistent 50's appeal and are very well maintained.
I first went to the Issaquah store, and was pleased when the Bellevue store opened. Well worth the trip and cost. You will be guaranteed to be full afterward as well.
- Pros: Feast sized burgers, Well worth the price
- Cons: Expensive, No value menu
Quality burger

A delicious tasty burger that leaves Dick's burgers in the dust. The variety is plentiful, fries are delish and atmosphere is ambient. I would definately recommend coming here for a quick fix, albeit rather pricey. but you get what you pay for.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: a little pricier

probably the best fatest burger, albeit the most expensive, in town. everything is order made, hot and good. maybe once every two weeks is enough for diet and budget.
- Pros: good food, service, cleanliness
- Cons: expensive, fat, fat, fat, need smoothies
Cheaper than Red Robin, tastier than McDonald's, able to add a fried egg to a burger--it's the fast-food superhero.

The Scene
Eager customers order at the counter and employees, sans headphones, bark the order at the fry cooks. Construction workers, downtown employees and moms with kids slide into red-and-yellow booths. A retro jukebox sits in the middle of the restaurant, but it's rarely used, since jazz and R&B are always piped in.
The Food
There's a grilled chicken sandwich and a chili dog. Other than that, it's all burgers. Wrapped in paper and dripping with toppings, these burgers are definitely fatty. With the addition of a slice of cheese, bacon and a fried egg, and it's a hefty, cholesterol-laden treat that puts mainstream chains to shame. Diners with healthier aspirations can order the turkey burger with everything; it's almost as good as the red-meat variety and just as messy.
Misses the mark

Tried the new Bellevue store, and while it's less annoying than Redmond in terms of nerve shredding noise, the fries were still the same ice cold, cardboard textured grease. I do love the turkey burgers with cheddar cheese added-on but I don't buy the ordering system. Is it really that difficult to get 2 burgers in the bag when the order you are filling is for 2 burgers? Maybe if they calmly concentrated on getting the orders right over the gimmicky shtick of yelling the order out we would have full bellies tonight. And when you are asked 'did you put both burgers in there?' what would possess you to boldface lie and say 'yes'??!!! Maybe it has something to do with the spirits of the original Bellevue McDonalds playing poltergeist. Take my advice and drive around the block to Broiler Bay - at least for the fries.
- Pros: turkey buger, cheddar cheese, condiment selection
- Cons: NOISE, cold nasty fries, shorted on order
