My Husband and I decided to try Coho's. The SALAD was amazing! Incredibly fresh, all the items were blended together for a unique and satisfying flavor...almost more than you can eat at one sitting...I managed to finish my Smoked Chicken and Fruit Salad. I also found enough offerings that are GLUTEN Free to be VERY happy. With an allergy this was a very important part of our visit to see if I could really eat there. I would suggest a gluten free menu to make it the most perfect of experiences.

We were greeted at the door with a warm smile and a hint of wonderful seasoning coming from the kitchen. My husband and I are very picky about our seafood, and we love to cook, so to us, the aroma was very welcome. The restaurant was not very busy and we were sat instantly, and our server introduced herself right away. She was courteous, quick, but not pushy, and it felt like we didn't have to wait for anything. The food was very good, not greasy, the fish was fresh, and the salmon chowder was perfect for a cold and wet Northwest evening. I loved the lava cake (try it with some ice cream on top!). Can't wait to go back!

I went there having heard great things about the menu. The food was very average, quite disappointing. There's no need to go back to this place!

My wife and I ate here last night. We were impressed with the happy hour menu and new summer drink list. We started off with drinks (Prickley pear margarita,Lychee mojito) and appetizers (California roll tower). We followed this with our main courses(Seafood fettucine and Smoked chicken fruit salad). Drinks and food were delicious. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My wife and I were very pleased with our dinning experience as we have been looking for an Eastside restaurant that can accomodate a wide variety of tatstes and occasions. Hope you like as much as we did!

Went in with my wife, had a new salmon dish that I guess the new chef made. Outstanding! Haven't had seafood like this in a while. Great service, fun place.
Pros: Best in Issaquah
Cons: Only take reservations for 5 or more people

Dear previous reviewer. I am terribly sorry for the poor dining experience you and your husband recieved. As the new general maanger I want you to know that the manager on duty and responsible for your dinner that night is no longer with us. I have printed out your review and given it to each of our servers to ensure that the team understands the failure that night. We are working hard at resolving the issues and to make the Coho Cafe a truly outstanding dining establishment that all of issaquah and Sammamish can be very proud of. I urge you to try us again in the future as any failure at that point would be my own. I assure you that that will not happen.
Pros: flavor
Cons: noise

My husband and I went to the COHO in Issaquah last night after trying to go to Jak's, which had a two hour wait. We had eaten there before, and the food was alright, and service was average, nothing to brag about. It’s on the passport card, so we thought we'd give it another try. But this time, it was much worse. Let's put it this way, we didn't even eat there, because we apparently are invisible to all the serving staff. We were promptly seated, but no one came over to greet us, take a drink order, or even bring water. We watched other tables being ignored as well, people who were done eating and looking like they had been waiting for a long time. So we waited about 10 minutes, watched the server pass our table about 5 times without any acknowledgement of our existence, so we up and left. There is no way we will ever go back here, ever. Not recommended.
Pros: passport card
Cons: horrible service

I have dined here before and wasn't blown away. like other reviewers I thought the Redmond Coho was much better. Something is changing in Issaquah though. I know they have new mangement, but my last threee times have been great. Origional cocktails, consitently good food. I use my passport card so great value. Is Issaquah finally getting another restaurant to compete with Jak's? We will see but that would be great!
Pros: High level Restaurant close to home
Cons: loud, and getting more popular so sometimes a wait.

this place could be alot better than what it is now. visited during lunch, and it was one noisy zoo. confused waiters and waitresses mixed, and lost orders. we ended up waiting 20 mintues after our meal was done to have one of initially ordered dish bagged for to-go. they were atleast polite and nice. not a kid friendly place with staff running around tables, and mostly diners from nearby offices. i was with my toddler kid, and we felt like we were in a wrong place. honestly, can't even remember what we had for lunch there, and it was just a few weeks ago. oh, and i later found out that they over charged my credit card, even after adding the generous tip we gave, but did get the proper credit back after a few days. wow

It has been a while since I received customer service that parellels the outstanding service I received while visiting the Coho Cafe. My wife and I enjoyed dinner here a couple of Friday nights ago and were blown away by the sincere and friendly service that we received from the hostess, our server, and all of the employees that we encountered, despite the fact that the restaurant was quite busy. I tried the chopped seafood salad and my wife had the pit roasted salmon and we were both very delighted with our meals. The flavor and the presentation were superb. Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us select both our wine and our entrees. If you don't mind a little bit of noise, I highly recommend trying the Coho Cafe. The atmosphere is very fun and lively and the staff makes you feel important and welcome from the minute you enter the door. This is an establishment that should put Issaquah on the map for great places to eat!
