I 'm so excited that I have to tell the world, after ten months away, ASHLEY returned to CARUH - Seattle is so glad you're back!!!

Pros: open long hours, seven days a week

Cons: i can't spend enough time there

I have found my favorite weekend spot in Seattle!! A friend refered me to caruh. I called to make an appt for a cut/facial and wax. The girl that answered the phone was pleasant and very helpful with all of my questions(I am super picky and have been to alot of salons because of this- never had been able to find the right fit-until now) I scheduled for a haircut a 1 hr facial and a brow wax. Erica cut my hair- she was probably the sweetest person I have ever met and payed close attention to what i wanted- I love my new cut. Yaicha was my facialist- wow was she great! She took along time talking about my skin what I was using at home and the facial was amazing.The products smelt so great, and I got alot of massage and everything was personalized for me. I have been using some of the products she reccomended for only a week and my skin feels amazing! I was also so happy with my brow shape. The best part was the hair cut was only $35 and the facial was only$80. If you are looking for a super chill place with friendly and personable staff I highly reccomend Caruh- i am referring everyone I know!

I am new to Seattle and fretted over where to get my haircut...I had driven by Caruh several times and decided to try it! It was no trouble getting an appointment...I called on a Friday and got in on Tuesday. The receptionist was very friendly and offered me tea/water while I waited in a peacful little room for my treatments to begin. The eyebrow wax was an experience in itself..a seemingly painful procedure was actually pleasurable...you relax on a massage table, breathe in aromatherapy oils, get a little massage, AND they even put a hot stone on my tummy! After my eyebrows were nicely waxed (3 weeks later they are still perfect), Emily (new to Seattle herself) took me back for my haircut. I showed her pictures and told her about my hair...she listened very well and gave me her thoughts too. Then she gave me an amazing scalp massage using some Aveda products. When she washed my hair, she left the conditioner in and proceded to give me a fantastic hand massage. Long story short...she was so friendly, helpful, and obviously talented...I LOVE MY HAIRCUT! I will be going back to see Emily for sure and I look forward to it...Oh and I almost forgot...the haircut was only $35.00!

I'm a total spa junkie. I have been getting regular facials for years, bouncing around from spa to spa and then I found Caruh. All three estheticians are totally awesome - the most nurturing, relaxing facials I've had in years and at the best price point. (Its only $60 for an hour.) They have taught me a lot about my skin and how to take care of it without pressuring me to buy anything . . . not that they have too since the Aveda line is so great. For me the major bonus it that they never leave the room during the service. (At most spas when you steam they leave, but at Caruh steam time means shoulder, hand, and foot massage.) Oh and the massage therapists are great too! I was totally indulgent and tried the hour and half hot stone massage - it was heavenly.

Pros: Parking, price, front desk staff is really helpful

Cons: Can be hard to get in - call in advance!

I've been going to Jessica for about 4 years now and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. The color is always consistant which I find VERY important. Be warned that she books up fast so make your appointments super early :o)

I use to do hair. And have been serching for a good stylist for a long time. Well I found them best cuts ever and best color. I get so many complemnets on my hair . Erica and Corinne are the best out there. If you want good color see Corinne and if you want a fabulous cut must see Erica!

Pros: Corinne for color and Erica for Cut

if you want the best haircut of your entire life go see ashley. she is one of the only hair stylists i would actually call an artist (jessica-who does color at caruh is another). if you are adventurous then just tell her how short she can go, and give her creative control-don't worry, she will tell you exactly what she is thinking of doing before she makes a single cut. i did this the first time I ever saw her, and came out with the best haircut of my entire life. she is a total genius, and really nice. the only thing is that her schedule fills up fast. call for an appointment around 2 weeks (or more) before you need a cut.

The only service I've had at Caruh is haircolor and highlight, by Jessica Harvey, and now I see why people rave about her. I have been to so many hair colorists who either made my curly, long hair too brassy or almost silver! When I finally busted a move and went to her (I have to travel from Bainbridge), I realized it was totally worth it. in addition, she's fun to hang out with and I think she must have been a massage master in a past life because the head and hand massages alone are euphoric. But what's really euphoric is that my hair finally looks ... and feels beautiful and healthy again. I'm probably making it even harder to get an appointment by posting this, but I can't keep a good thing to myself for long.

I have been going to this salon for a few years now and I recommend it to people all the time...usually because people ask where I get my hair done! I have had their cuts, color, facials and massages and have been impressed every time.

I've been to many salons in the Seattle area but never left with the cut I asked for. The same went for my husband. We both have hard to cut hair (his curly and mine coarse). Well, we went in for appointments together and left looking great. We both got BETTER than we asked for. The complementary massages were nice, too. The marvelous cuts even got us feeling romantic! So, thanks Caruh, for the great service and for the boost in our love life, too!

Pros: Good parking, Nice atmosphere, Great shops nearby
