Terrible waitress, extremely overpriced, tacky decor

This defiantly was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I went to celebrate my friend's birthday with a party of nine. When we arrived the entire restaurant was hot and humid the windows were all steamed up and it was hard to breath. Five out of the nine people in our party showed up first and ordered some drinks and two appetizers. One of the appetizers was "Frites" aka French fries which was about one potatoes worth (mind you) that was $6. The "Frites" tasted like cafeteria French fries for 6 times the price and a few pathetic chives sprinkled over the top. The fact that the food was extremely overpriced could have been made up by good service, but instead it was made infinitely worse by the rudest/snootiest waitress in the world. This haggard snob never once smiled or acted friendly (perhaps knowing that she was going to charge us automatic 20% gratuity). Every time she came to our table she was cold, short, and acted aggravated that we were there. I ordered the one, non salad, vegetarian option, the tomato and vegetable pot-pie for $16. When it came it was comprised of huge pieces of carrots and potatoes half cooked marinated in what tasted like a watered down Safeway Select pasta sauce. The only thing half way appetizing about it was the pastry crust on the top. The decor as previously stated by another review was tacky, early 90's, and boorish. Even worse than Broadway Grill's body sculpture- light fixtures (that they tried so hard to sell for $200) At the end of our meal our bill came to $270 which included her nice $40 tip she gave herself. The only pleasant person working at this restaurant was the host. I guess it’s a hard knock life being a 40 year old waitress having to serve fun loving 20 somethings. Sorry we didn’t fit your clientele type.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Service, food prices, decor, everthing
