I live in Kirkland and I was looking for a new and interesting place to take my mom for her 49th Birthday. I wasn't so sure what to expect from the place because there were many different reviews on this Bistro, but as soon as we walked in I could tell that we were going to love the place. The service was great all night and the food was truly amazing and yes in worth every penny (seriously I’m not exaggerating). The whole experience was mind blowing but one thing that touch all of us the most was that Lynn but our desert order on the house since it was mom mom’s birthday. That gesture was so human and so generous; we were all moved. (I have to say not because we didn’t pay for it, but to see that true service and understanding still exist.) Now, we are counting down for the next event to go there and treat ourselves to another wonderful evening once again.

Pros: Great food, Great service

Cons: Parking

The service was attentive and the food quality great. The pate went very well with the bread and salad where the dressing and taste blends superbly. Glad that I tried the pate. The lamb was done exactly as specified, and had just the right taste. The potatoes and vegetables were also cooked to the right degree and all the tastes combine to make a great dish. I wish I had room for dessert, but I was simply too full. I would definitely go back and again, and this time try their dessert.

Pros: Food, Service.

Cons: None

When we got there, we walked in at 5:00 expecting to be seated right away. All of the tables were empty, and we had reservations. The woman at the counter didn't say hello, or "be right with you" or anything. When we said "Excuse me," she wouldn't even look at us. The busboy didn't greet us either. Neither did the chef. After ten minutes of standing there being ingored by three people., we walked out. I would never eat at a place where customers are treated like trash. If they apply the same attention to detail as they do to their customer service, the place should be shut down within the year. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Pros: wouldn't know, didn't get seated.

Cons: No service

Whether your into seafood, red meat, white meat, or are a vegetarian there is something for everyone. I would recommend the French Onion Soup and the Crab Cakes; though the Duck and the Filet Mignon are a special treat. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing with light green walls adorned with french posters. They don't serve cocktails, though they have a wine list that complements the menu beautifully. Since it was a special occasion I brought my own wine and the corking charge was nominal. The service staff was friendly and sharp. And don't forget dessert she has crepes which are fantastic, so simple and delicious. If your on the eastside or live there take some time to find this little kirkland jewel it is definetely a culinary treat.

Pros: Food, Service Staff

Cons: Parking

Huge portions of gourmet haute fare in Kirkland. Chef Tran cooks up great versions of duck, filet mignon, lamb, salmon, pasta and chicken. Perhaps the star of the entire menu are the crabcakes, full of crab and little else. Service is polite, informed and swift. Decor is tastefully done, this is an ideal setting for a nice romantic dinner for two or a business meal with a group. Wine list is excellent. Desserts are made on premises and are outstanding. Simply put, Lynn's is a stellar eastside bistro.

We were promptly seated because we had a reservation, but it tool forever for food to come. The waiters were nice though. I had a rack of lamb, and my husband had a duck breast. I didn't really like mine (the sauce overpowered the lamb flavor), but his dish was great. I was kinda disappointed with the side. Every entree has the exact same side dish - sauteed spring vegetables and scalloped potatoes. They were good, but I thought it lacked creativity.

Pros: Not too casual or, not too formal

Cons: Slow service

I went to Lynn's for a staff meeting and it was perfect! let me start off with saying that i never had an empty glass of water or iced tea. The waiter really seemed to care! The service was great and the food was delicious! i was very impressed and have told everyone about it! I plan to go on a date there in the next week! i liked that the waiter spoke french and used it! i felt like i was in France!

Pros: Atmosphere, Taste, Service

Cons: i'd like french music

We ate at Lynn's Bistro again. For us it is a bit of a drive. It had been at least a year. The meal was FANTASTIC! Every course was delicious. Lynn's sauces amaze me. You can tell Chef Lynn has been at it for some time. The wine list was larger, and it made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Our waitress was very pleasant. She made us feel right at home. I guess you can tell we really enjoyed ourselves. We dont review places we eat. This is the exception....try this place folks.....it's really worth it.

Pros: food, wine, service

Cons: parking

I was interested in this place after it received glowing praise from the Seattle Times. Last wknd we were the youngest people (we're thirtysomethings) there. My only guess the old folks there can't take flavor. Tho there was nothing wrong about the food it doesn't warrant the pricing. The waiter was not knowledgable about the dishes or the wine.

Pros: atmosphere

Cons: pricey, boring

Beautifully prepared, Asian-accented French fare in intimate, unpretentious surroundings.  See the full editorial review.
