Best Waxing by Alicia!

Alicia is the best, fastest and painless waxer I have ever been to. She does a great job and you feel comfortable and relaxed. The spa is beautiful and the girl working at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasent. I would recommend that anyone interested in getting any kind of wax go here and see Alicia.

Most Comfortable Spa

I went to Spa Del Lago a few weeks ago for pedicures with a few friends and it was truly a memorable experience. When we arrived at the spa, the girls at the front desk were very friendly (not the stereotypical snotty receptionist-very warm and welcoming) and they brought us some water and tea. Next I headed into the lobby where we sat by the beautiful waterfall-SO RELAXING! Next we headed into the lone pedicure room which is blocked by a wall from the rest of the spa so you really do feel pampered- they have big plush chairs with comfy pillows, not the electrical massage chairs, which I liked better. Also, you soak your feet in big ceramic bowls that they fill with lemons and bubbles which seems cleaner and classier than other places. There were so many colors to choose from and the lady doing my pedicure was very helpful in guiding me to colors that would look good with my skin. The best part was the foot massage- they actualy devoted a few minutes to really massaging and it was WONDERFUL!! When we were done, we were allowed to sit and dry for as long as wanted without being hurried out, and checking out was easy and pleasant. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation, great customer service, and extremely kind staff. We loved Spa Del Lago!

Worst Customer Service

After having come to this spa for years, I decided to have my bridal party and family from both sides come to Spa Del Lago for pedis and manis the day before my wedding. After being told that I could provide a confirmed final count a few weeks before and giving them my credit card information, I accidently found out via email that they dropped me from the books and booked another wedding party for the same time. There was no apologies or any attempts to fix the problem as 13 of the 16 ladies were coming in from out of town! In fact I was told "We can't drop the other party from our books." Apparently it was okay to drop us from the books. With 2 1/2 weeks to find a spa for 16 ladies during wedding season it was extremely stressful. What made it worse was the lack of customer service, their inability to problem solve within reason or provide alternatives that worked for us. It was ridiculous. Too bad I won't be recommending them to any of my friends and family as I once used to rave about them. Its not worth my time or effort since clearly they don't care about their long term customers. Instead JULEP is wonderful and has been amazing to work with- even getting our large party in at the last minute. is a doll to work with!!! away with Spa Del Lago and HELLO JULEP!

Bummer.

My girlfriend and I went for pedicures on the 16th of this month. I was really looking forward to trying Spa Del Lago out, as I'd heard such good things. I'm sad to report that I was really, really disappointed.

My technician didn't let me soak for more than a minute at the most, and while I was soaking she sat right in front of me waiting to begin. Needless to say, this was not relaxing. Meanwhile, my girlfriend's tech was nowhere to be found, and emerged and started her pedicure 5 minutes after mine had begun.

Neither of our technicians seemed comfortable speaking English, which was a bit frustrating. I was asking for a specific nail color, and my tech kept handing me random shades that had nothing to do with what I was asking for. In order to pick a color you had to sift through an extremely over-full basket of nail polish bottles, which was difficult to navigate without sending the glass bottles down to the concrete floor. What happened to the plastic nail color charts?

Although the pedicure itself was fine, I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time. I had worn a skirt (as I usually do when I get pedicures, to avoid pant legs brushing against we toes), and the tech had my knees literally up against my chest. I felt cramped and totally unable to relax.

All in all, I will not be back. Although my toes look decent, the experience was not worth the money at all.

Friendly Staff

A couple weeks ago a girlfriend and I went for a full spa day. Massages, Facials, and manicures and pedicures. Our facials were amazing, we had a soliv treatment, and when we came out it was like a small face lift! (without any pain!) Seriously! Our nail girls were very friendly and helpful with some of the questions we asked. On our way out, we payed and the front desk girls were simply charming. You could tell that everyone was wanting our experience to be the best it could be.

I Loved It!

I recently went to Spa Del Lago and had the Get Away package for my birthday. Everything went so smoothly from the minute I walked in. The front desk girl was friendly and made me feel at ease while I waited for my treatments to begin. Catherine, my facialist, gave me one of the most thorough and relaxing facials Ive experienced. My one hour massage by Tyler was fantastic; he really worked out all the kinks in my shoulders! Finally, I received a manicure and pedicure from Kim, she is so meticulous with her work, and she really did a great job! Thank you Spa Del Lago for making my birthday so special! I will definitely be back!

Not going back

I tried, I really did. I have been to Spa Del Lago three times. I really like the atmosphere, but each time there was a problem -- I was overcharged twice, I went for an early appointment and no one was there to open until 15 minutes after my start time and I have never gotten a call back after leaving messages about a new appointment. My friends warned me about this place, but I didn't listen. They were right, I won't be back.

This spa is wonderful. The staff here is very professional. I loved my massage, in fact, it was one of the best I have ever had! My toes look great and my pedicure lasted longer then I expected.

Can't ask for more!!!

I had a lovely experience at Spa Del lago recently. I was new to this spa and have mostly gone to spas downtown and always felt rushed and . Spa Del Lago was so relaxing and the technicians were so knowledgable. I had one of the Skin Ceutical peels that left my skin feeling so soft. I also has the salt scrub and my skin just glows now! I will recommend Spa del Lago to all of my friends. I should also say that the front desk were very helpful in getting me in despite my hectic schedule.

Beautiful Madison Park Spa

I had a wonderful experience at Spa Del Lago last week. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I was greeted with tea and a very friendly staff. My facial was so relaxing and my mani and pedi were so delightful that I actually fell asleep during my service! When I checked out, I didn't feel obligated to buy a bunch of products but the manager seemed very knowledgable about skincare.
