I went there to get my windows tinted because of some recommendations from my co-workers. i have had cataract sergery for both eyes two years ago; under Material Obstructing or Reducing Driver's View ( California DMV code 26708 ) (10) Sun screening devices meeting the requirements of Section 26708.2 installed on the side windows on either side of the vehicle's front seat, if the driver or a passenger in the front seat has in his or her possession a letter or other document signed by a licensed physician and surgeon certifying that the person must be shaded from the sun due to a medical condition, or has in his or her possession a letter or other document signed by a licensed optometrist certifying that the person must be shaded from the sun due to a visual condition. I would like to thank you to the staff or the owner, He told me (on the phone) to have the doctor note if the police stop me then I could show it to the police, it does not have any problem. and I would like to confirm the message, so I went to DMV website to find out, it's absolutely true information that they provided to me. After 2 & 1/2 weeks, when I washed my car exterior on last Sunday; I found out the WTS's replaced a new pair of liences frame for my vehicles, and I did not recognized when the staffs tinted the windows two weeks ago, I guess they a really did a good job for my windows and I just keep focus on the windows all the time.......... I will highly recommand my friends, my co-workers, & my relatives to come to tint the window At WTS window tint shop.

1st of all you need to be a real "bimbo" if you don’t know that having your front windows tinted is illegal. Come one... we are in Cali4nia! Everything is illegal….even the people.. LOL [not hattin’, I'm Mexican myself] 2ndly, they have a sign next to the different shades of tint saying that "having your front windows tinted is illegal".... With that being said, I was satisfied with their work. They have a friendly staff and also explain in detail what they will be doing to your car. My window had a little "crak" and instead of going ahead and putting the tint, they came to me 1st and explained the pros and the cons of putting the tint. I was waiting for around 3 hours but that's how long you usually have to wait for this type of work. So if you go to WTS, take your PSP, a book or you might want to go to the 99c store that's around the corner :-). They offer various tint shades and rims. You will get your moneys worth.

The Whittier Tint Shop is an excellent place to have your windows tinted. It is a first come first serve basis. The manager informed me that driver and passanger side tinting is illigel. He also said that is only $40 to remove and to replace the tint, to clear a fix it ticket So as expected I got a fixit ticket! It wasn't a big deal! i WOULD TOTALLY GO TO THIS SHOP AGAIN!!! You should see for your self! Totally Recommend it to you!

DO NOT GO TO WHITTIER TINT SHOP! I went there to get my windows tinted because of alot of recommendations. But when i asked if tinting the front driver and passenger windows were illegal and they said no. That it was perfectly legal. and so a few months later i got pulled over by a CHP telling me that they are illegal to tint the front windows. These guys are liars! Do not go there! i hope the cops give them what is coming to them for stealing peoples money!
Pros: The tint was an OK job
Cons: Lie to you just to get your money.
