Scooping up 31 flavors since the 1950s, this long-time dessert parlor is the world's largest ice-cream franchise.

In Short
Strawberry-pink and milk-white are the signature colors of the fast-food realm's ice-cream leader. Customers belly up to counters in food courts or free-standing shops where rows of ice cream-packed tubs stand ready under stacks of sugar cones and cardboard cups. Originally, the "31" promised a different flavor every day of the month. Nowadays, the number signifies constant variety--from Cherries Jubilee and Rocky Road to shakes, smoothies and custom-made cakes.

This store, specifically, seems to charge more for their cakes than other stores. I haven't checked other stores for normal items like single/double/triple scoops, but the cakes definitely cost a little more. What bothers me the most is that this store seems to give back less than the other stores in the area. During the 31 cent scoop night, they not only made the event start later by an hour, but ended it an hour earlier as well. They also limited the number of scoops @ .31 to just 1 (instead of 10 like other stores).
- Pros: It's baskin robbins - it's still good
- Cons: Don't give back to their customers like other stores
