This is one of those places that you'll want to just get take out, or if you're in the mood for a quick weeknight dinner, it's fine for a casual sit down. My husband and I eat here a lot, and it's a perfect place for us to just swing by after work and grab something on the way home. The mango salad is excellent and I think it's the best thing on the menu. Everything else I've ever ordered has been fine but nothing has really impressed me like that salad. It comes with julienne mango pieces, red onion and fried tofu that's both spicy, sweet and tangy. Incredibly healthy and low cal, I highly recommend it.

I went here for the first time tonight, and maybe I need to give it another try, but I really didn't see anything special on the menu that I would come back for. I had the spicy beef soup, and it was very oily. The beef was super fatty (which I'm sure a lot of people just love!), and even as I went to wipe my mouth with my napkin, it appeared as though I had oil lipstick on. The noodles were meant to be rice noodles, but were much larger and tasted like egg noodles. I did have dessert, and that was a deep-fried banana and coconut milk dish. Very tasty indeed! I don't think that I would go out of my way to come back here--felt a little overlooked by the staff, and a guy who apparently knew the staff came in and helped to clear our dishes away. It definitely wasn't terrible, just nothing brilliant.

Lemongrass is one of those tiny holes on the wall that you just keep on coming back to. I love it for many reasons - the vermicelli bowls, the soups, all at such great prices. My favorite vermicelli bowl has the grilled pork and shrimp cake, tasty and filling. The decor is inviting, with low lighting and nice art work on the walls, it can work for a second date restaurant. Try the #12 soup.
