My wife and I have visited this restaurant twice (once for lunch and then dinner), space about 8 months apart. The first visit (lunch) was fine, nothing to write home about. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated, the food was just average, and the cost, I thought, was a bit high for what we got. The only downside was the service, which was lacking, only saw the waitress twice, when she took our order and when she brought our bill ... but, I have to say it was busy. Our second visit (dinner) was a total disappointment. We brought along some friends for a quiet evening out, so a quick service was not required or expected by us. Unfortunately, even with that expectation on our part, the quality of service strained our patience. From the time we sat down to when we finally left was about one hour and forty-five minutes. To make matters worse, the food was not nearly as good as I expected. My Lomi was soggy, lacked taste and I barely detected any salt. The Lau-Lau was a dried-up piece about the size of a racketball, and the mac salad was warm, almost hot. The other members of my group said their dinners were simply fine, nothing special. The atmosphere at that time was uncomfortable because we could hear other customers complaining about the service and food as well.
