Dana is not only a consummate professional, but also witty and personable. She makes it an experience. You won't be disappointed and will leave the salon with a new sass in your step.

I love Wild Root Salon & Spa! Dana is an absolute star! Her "eye packages" include a lash tint, brow wax and brow tint - and they are amazing. I'm quite addicted and my friends always ask me where I get my brows done :) I sent them straight to Dana. I've had a facial and a massage there as well - both excellent. What I love the most is the comfortable, fun atmosphere and the personality of everyone who works there - I feel like I can "let my hair down" and just relax.

Pros: Street parking always available, there's even a free lot next door during off-hours

WOW, what a great facial treatment by Dana at Wild Root. First of all, it was very enjoyable. I felt very comfortable and relaxed because of Dana's style, products used, technique and music selected. I've had facials before where the esthetician continually talks about what she's doing and what product she's using. That does nothing to relax a person. Dana also was skilled in her cranial and neck massage which truly relaxed me. I especially appreciated Dana being aware of my very sensitive skin. I had no reaction whatsoever the next day. That is rare because I usually do. After some facials, I can remember my face being raw. I think some of those masks on the market are terribly harsh. The Aveda products she used were very soothing and my skin was awesome the next day. I had the best night's sleep in a long time and felt so refreshed at work the next day...amazing. Thanks to Dana for this exceptional facial treatment. I already made a second appointment!

I enjoy everything about this salon from the moment I walk in the door. It's lively, friendly and the staff are all very courteous. Dana is the very best in town at massage, facials, brow waxing and tinting. I've had eyelash extensions done by a few salons in town and Dana's were done with so much skill and care, and lasted the longest! Jennifer at the front desk is delightful, too! Definately check this place out!

For the best facial and eye brow services, go see Dana at Wild Roots Salon!! I make a special trek all the way to the Maple Leaf area of Seattle from Vashon Island just to see her!! I just love the way she shapes my eyebrows and my face is so much better since I've been having Dana's various facial treatments. I'm a hairsylist on Vashon and know what a great facial service should be like, also, a male client of mine complemented on how great the shape of my eyebrows were, (I was actually surprised that he noticed such things). I finally decided to write this because he commented on my brows again and told me to let Dana know what a awesome job she does. I highly recommend you see her, no matter how far you have to go to get there!

I've been a client of Dana's for years and have recently followed her to her new location at Wild Root Salon to continue receiving AMAZING service for waxing, facials and lash tints. Seattle Magazine voted her one of the best in Seattle for lash tinting in their latest Beauty Issue and I can't agree with them more!! I saw her this morning for my monthly "sultry bedroom eyes" treatment: a gorgeous shaping and waxing of my brows and a dark eye lash tint. You won't need makeup after this enhancement of your natural beauty! Dana's natural warmth and infectious humor make the visit at Wild Root a pleasurable experience every time I go. Her knowledge of beauty products and skin treatments are invaluable and ANY treatment with her is money well spent. I HIGHLY recommend Dana at Wild Root for her services, ease at getting an appointment, great product lines (U Spa) and affordable prices.

I HAVE BEEN SEEING DANA FOR A VERY LONG TIME, SHE IS FABULOUS. I GET MY WAXES FROM HER AND OF COURSE MY FACIALS AND THEY ARE ALWAYS INCREDIBLE. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, DANA IS THE ONE TO SEE. THANKS DANA, YOU ROCK!

I recently had my first expeience at Wild Root in the cute Maple Leaf neighborhood. I had been disenchanted with the waxing and tinting that I'd received at various salons and spas around the city and an acquaintance recommended that I go see Dana. I was not disappointed! Dana has a very nurturing presence and the atmosphere in her treatment room is soothing. I got a fantastic brow wax...the best shaping I've ever received. I also got a brow and lash tint, also fantastic. I later learned that she was voted the best in seattle. I can certainly see why and will definitely be going back! I hear that her facials are truly amazing as well. The salon atmosphere is nice although I didn't love that I could see into the kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Wild Root.

Dana rocks... seriously though... she does great work and is a total hoot to chat with while having services done... she just relocated here to wild roots and im so happy she did!

This salon has such a comfortable, casual, funky feel, but it is still very professional and stylish. So many small salons feel pretentious and intimidating - this one definitely doesn't. The staff are friendly and professional, and go out of their way to make sure you're relaxed and soothed during your visit. I came in after a day of Christmas shopping at the mall and was exhausted, and I got a complimentary chair massage with a massage therapist, a great shampoo, cut and blow dry, and a warm cup of tea to sooth my jangled nerves. I've never had a bad experience here - these stylists can work miracles with hair!
