Singha-ppy for the Thai
by CuisineEditor
Golden Sigha (Seattle): A beautiful hole-in-the-wall Thai shack. Average Thai tea. Excellent Thom Kai Gai. Above average Pad Thai. Tofu unnecessarily extra fried. Average pineapple curry with prawns. Fast service. All
Thai staff?even the cooks who know how to make their guests singha.?The Cuisine Editor? The poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese. ~G.K. Chesterton
Wonderful Tom Ka and Good Phad thai
by SusanfromSeattle
I judge a Thai restaurant on two things Tom Ka and Phad thai both of which are very good at the Golden Singha, As a Belltown dweller I try to frequent neighborhood restaurants and really enjoy myself whenever I head in to the Golden Singha. Service is prompt, not exactly friendly but prompt and the food is great. A combination which makes this restaurant a staple for me.
- Pros: Food and quick service
- Cons: parking
Wonderful, simple, well-prepared Thai
by shoregirl
Great food, great prices - everything was very fresh and well-seasoned. Our hostess/server was able to answer our questions beautifully. The best peanut sauce I have EVER had... try it with their terrific fresh spring rolls.
- Pros: Fresh food, Great prices
Great Basic Thai Food
by paulrbrown
We were pleased to find great basic Thai food at Golden Singha with a couple of interesting twists. The curry fried rice prepared with brown rice was delicious and surprisingly moist for a brown rice dish. Service is quick and friendly.
We loved it!

We stumbled upon Golden Singha while walking to the Seattle Center from our hotel. They don't offer a lunch menu on weekends, but the food was still a great value. The servings are large, and the staff is friendly and very attentive. It has the feeling of a family owned and operated establishment (it may be...) We would absolutely drop in again during future visits!
- Pros: Good location, Cheap, good eats, Excellent service
Great Thai Food At An Affordable Price
by finkleroy
Golden Singha makes some of the best Thai food in Seattle, plus their prices are very reasonable. Almost every item on their menu is $5.79 for lunch and $6.79 for dinner. Try the Massaman Curry and the Tom Kah Chicken Soup. I highly recommend this restaurant.
- Pros: Food, Price, Service
Yummy Thai food
by jenga68
This little restaurant is a great spot for casual lunch or dinner. It's not a fancy space, but the food tastes good. You can get brown rice instead of white, which I like. The servers are friendly and service is timely.
- Pros: yummy
- Cons: parking
