I have been coming to Naomi at High Maintenance for my Brazilian wax since their opening a few years ago and I could never imagine going elsewhere! Naomi has always been fantastic, she makes the waxing quick and painless. I have also had facials here and they have been by far the best I have had. They really set the expectations high, completely spoiling you during your treatments! Everything from their friendly hospitality, welcoming Mimosas and wonderful products (Jane Iredale cosmetics, refreshing Yonka facial care, yummy lotions and beautiful jewelery) keeps me looking forward to my once a month visits.

Pros: Brazilian Wax, Facials, Well Researched products

Cons: Parking, Suggest Booking appt early

I've been going to High Maintenance since January 2003. It's just as good as it was then as it is today despite their enormous clientele growth. I still receive personalized and personable attention every time I come in. Naomi and Kristi have been there from the start. Kristi is really sweet and does amazing make up applications and mani's of course. No one can beat Naomi when it comes to facials. It is the perfect place for me, as it is a chic and girly girl atmosphere, but can appeal to anyone that appreciates good service. Worth every penny on the Brazilian!!! Love you gals!!! Suzie

Pros: Professional, accomdating, best waxing techniques and practices, amazing facials~!

Cons: prices went up a bit, but that is expected when we are in a time of price increases everywhere.

What a sweet intimate place to have facials and waxing. I would NOT recommend the manicures, but EVERYTHING else at High Maintenance is great. Jen is fantastic, personable, efficient and knowledgeable. Seattle is full of cute little spas, but what sets this place apart is really the quality of the service and atmosphere. They are relaxed. I feel pampered with inviting customer service, great waxing, great facials and none of the pretense of Gene Juarez.

This was quite possibley the BEST facial I have ever had! The products were high quality and my face seemed to keep glowing even days later. I have been to this salon many times for my waxing services and thought that was there specialty, I learned facials are too!! High Maintenance Rocks!

Pros: There the BEST, very cute

Cons: give yourself time to find parking

I found this salon on Citysearch and decided to give it a try for a Twinkle Toes pedicure. Kristi was fabulous!! She stayed late and took extra time with my feet, which needed some big help. First class products, service, and environment make this salon a great place to treat yourself after a long week. They're top notch all the way.

I recently had a wedding and prepared for it by getting regular facial by Ana, and by the "big day" my skin looked and felt amazing!! Each treatment was soo relaxing, I highly recommend this spa.

Pros: great skin treatments

Cons: parking is rough

I had recently taken the advise of Allure Magazine to try a facial by Naomi Lewis, WOW. It has been one week and my skin is still amazing and radiant. I travel often and really wanted a relaxing and ultra hydrating treatment, it was delivered!! The staff was super sweet, holding my shopping bags and serving a beautiful hot tea (okay this is Seatlle and yes It was cold and raining)! So I loved getting into a lovely heated bed and having my hands massaged and wrapped in mitt warmers even before my facial began. True Bliss.

Pros: great products, cute salon, lovely staff

I got a simple manicure there a few days ago. It looks okay but it was almost double what i would normally pay for the same thing. Granted the nice smelling rose water to soak my fingers in was a nice touch, i just dont think it was worth the extra money. The ladies there were not exactly rude but thier smiles and friendliness seemed forced, not genuine. I have heard nothing but good things about thier other services. I will go back to try a wax, but never again for a mani.

Pros: nice frills

Cons: not worth the extra cost

The waxing here is great, no complaints about that! However, I paid 140.00 (including tip) for a manicure and pedicure as a gift to a friend, and when she came to show it to me she was thankful for the gift, but told me next time to save my money and she would go to another place where she gets it done for 40.00. The pedicure was "choppy and uneven" and not what it should have been for that amount.

Pros: Waxing

Cons: Manicure and pedicure should be perfect for the cost, and it isn't

I live in Miami now and still go back to Seattle for my facials! I have tried more spas than I care to admit and have never found someone as professional, caring and fun as Naomi. . .every experience is different because she takes the time to evaluate my skin and do what is best for me. The whole experience is enjoyable from the moment you walk in and talk to Kristie to the relaxation while Naomi does her magic (and it's inevitable that I get so relaxed I take a little siesta while I'm there). I will continue to use this salon no matter where I live!
