Used to be gooo. CKF used to be a good standby for good food and good service no matter what city you were in, it was always consistent. Except Bellevue. Re-served bread (I know it was), BROWN lettuce, asking for water and the check 3x, and a general lack of care from the staff. No wonder this place was empty on a Sunday afternoon. I doubt I'll go back :(

Very satisfied, great menu!. I have had the opportunity to dine at many restaurants and NO other restaurant can compare to The Cheesecake Factory. The food and service were excellent. Anytime you walk into a restaurant and see lines of people waiting for a table, that's a great sign of things to come. The Chicken Madeira is fantastic, sauteed chicken with mozzerella and fontina cheeses, hot mashed potatoes, all served in a rich Madeira wine sauce... YUM! Oh did I mention the bathrooms? How often can you say you ate at a restaurant with bathrooms that look like a five star hotel lobby. I can't imagine being as busy as they are and still able to deliver the great food and service we had. It was husband's first time there and he has been taking all his clients there since...they all love it! I can't even talk about their desserts without wanting to jump in my car and drive there right now, 40 plus desserts are every sugar-lovers dream come true. Try the Godiva, WOW! Sure you can spend your $20 elsewhere, but this place is busy, hip, decorative, has great food and service, what more can you ask for?

Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain.. In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.

Best upscale casual restaurant. The Cheesecake Factory is probably the best option I have when I dont want to overspend but want to still have declicious food with great customer service. My personal favorite is Cajun Jambalaya pasta and the Steak Diane... desserts are also very yummy! The original strawberry cheesecake is classic and very declicous, my new favorite is the white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake... and when i am trying to lay off the calories, a goblet of fresh perfectly sweet strawberries and whipped cream satisfies my sweet tooth. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Just ONE thing though.... weekend nights have long wait lines, but you can always chill at the bar while waiting, it usually doesnt take more than 30 mins. :) ENJOY!

Red Robin meets Hotel Sheraton: Upscale casual dining. I enjoyed my first visit to The Cheesecake Factory. I did not wait long like other people have mentioned, mainly because I ate on a Sunday afternoon. A very energetic waiter escorted my sister and me. Our waiter actually surprised us twice, by sneaking up on us while we were reading our menus to take our orders. Still, he was very courteous, and allowed me to take his picture and even ask his age (20). He took our order for drinks and brought us the standard complimentary (and refilling) bread baskets. My sister ordered the lunch portion of Herb Crusted Filet of Salmon ($13) while I ordered the garlic spaghetti pasta with chicken ($16). I unashamedly took advantage of the bread as the wait for the food was rather long (about 15 minutes). The garlic sauce was a little too greasy and did not have enough of a garlic flavor for my tastes. However, I enjoyed the lemony breaded chicken in the pasta, which provided an interesting tangy taste in contrast to the slightly salty sauce. The sauce seemed comprised of mostly oil tomatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus. The tomato chunks added a semi-sweet escape in the pasta, while the asparagus pieces were fun to crunch on and the mushrooms were satisfyingly chewy. Overall, my pasta was very filling and I found myself satisfied after finishing my pasta, and I am someone who can down 4-5 slices of pizza when hungry. It was noisy, but not overwhelmingly so, kind of like sitting in a full movie theater chatting with your friends before the previews start. The flowery marble/granite designs helped give an up-scale feeling, like the lobby of The Sheraton. I recommend it if you are looking to spend a fair amount of money, $50-60 for two people.

Not impressed with expensive food!. This place used to be good. My jambalaya, which I have had here before, was dry. No liquid at all. My son had the dry orange chicken. What happened to this place. So expensive yet so bad.

Kids Menus. Personally, I love the Cheesecake factory. I went there in December and had great service. As a waitress, I understand that a restaurant with a 2 hour wait can be stressful for the waitstaff and many people are seated and already irritated because they just waited 2 hours. However, I've always gotten great service at every Cheesecake Factory I've been to. Also, about the kids menu- they don't have a kids menu persay, but I've gone with my neices, and there is tons of stuff for kids. Not on the menu, they have chicken strips and fries (a small portion), they have sides of macaroni, they have mini burgers that you can get with fries, quesadillas, taquitos etc. And they're all under $8. So, I think it would be unfortunate for you and your family not to go to the cheesecake factory because they don't have crayons, when they clearly have tons of things for kids to enjoy, even on a budget.

Warning: Not Kid Friendly. The Chessecake Factory has no kids menu! I was totally shocked when I took my three year old for lunch and found out I would have to order, and pay for, an adult sized portion for him. For anyone who has been to a Chessecake Factory, you know the portions are generous. And for a child, that's just an absurd amount of food. Even if leftovers are taken home, there is a tremendous amount of waste, of both food and money. On the Chessecake Factory website, their motto is "Something for Everybody". That is absolutely not the case. I encourage all parents who appreciate a kid-friendly atmosphere to stop frequenting all Chessecake Factories until they get the message that they are basically ripping off families with this type of business practice.

On a side note, the service seems to be slipping at the Bellevue location.

Horrible Service. I've been to Cheesecake Factory in Bellevue three times. The first two experiences were alright - the portions of food were big and the service was mediocre. Compared to the Cheesecake Factory in Downtown Seattle, the wait isn't as long, plus there's free parking. However, this restaurant isn't good for a romantic evening; you can hardly hear anything. The last time I went prompted me to write this review. I decided to go there for my birthday and I was sadly disappointed. The service was terrible. Even though the wait may not be that long, it still was fairly long. We were told to stand aside for another 5-10 minutes after our turn had arrived to be seated. Our server forgot to order our appetizer and apparently it was the end of his shift because we got switched over to another server. The food itself was mediocre; I ordered a dish with chicken, and I found it burnt on the ends. My brother ordered a Sprite, and our new server failed to give him the right drink. This only irritated us more. The manager came over to apologize, but by then the night was already ruined. To say the least, it was probably one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant, unless you want to experience bad service.

Deceptive Seating Process, too long a wait. Stay. Don't disappoint your party or group. Their seating process was deceptive and did not account for failed pagers, thus causing confusion for both the patrons and hostess. We waited for 30 minutes, then heard our name being called-out, but when we approached the hostess desk, we were told that if our pager didn't light-up or buzz, then you were not the one called. We waited another 45 minutes without a concern from the hostess and when asked why we were not called for the past hour and 15 minutes, they told us to stand in front of the bakers bar...without any apology or explanation of what happened. We waited another 15 minutes in front of the baker bar and we were too upset with the establishment to enjoy the evening. The waitress was friendly, but the food and their "cheesecake" was mediocre, which was not worth the wait and time. Big disappointment.
