Simply Authentic.
by michael541
Dark, cold, rainy and windy Seattle evening. What a wonderful place to spend it. The service made you feel like family, the food was simple - Authentic and appropriately prepared. If you are looking for wonderful Indian cuisine prepared by people who make you feel at home this is the place!
- Pros: Comfortable...just the right ambience to relax and enjoy the dining experience
- Cons: Food was so good; tried to eat it all but could not!
At your own risk!...

Ok. Bombay Grille officially spoiled my wifes birthday with their horrible horrible service, especially towards indian people! which is wierd because this is an indian restaurant, somehow focussed on giving service to non indian folks.
Two other people I have met there shared the same feeling.
a. Our food was delayed and the orders set by "american' folks were given first, this is accurate because not only i timed it, I also kept a count.
b. Other folks were approached by the waiters, and they dint care much for the indian families in the place(there were only two).
c. Service is poor in general, because they dont care to fill your water or even bother to ask you....
our naan bread was done in a hurry and was unbaked inside! this is bad for your stomach and you will have issues later! ...
Maybe I am feeling that they are biased based on my observations, but I believe I am right. I dont even give someone bad review if I dont mean it.
I drove 23 miles to come to this restaurant and they would not even bring their manager to hear me out. so if you want to go here, you should do so at the risk of your evening being spoiled. if you want real indian food(these guys just make up curries), y ou should try like udupi or mysore masala (not that they are that great service, but atleast your food will be better :) )
Sorry but this is my humble opinion.
- Pros: parking
- Cons: service, food
Mangos! Mangos! Mangos!

8 of my closest friends and I recently went to Bombay for my birthday. We were able to make reservations and our table was ready for us when we arrived! The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and it was very large. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive the entire evening. The menu has lots of selections but I had to go for the usual Tiki Masala. It was, unfortunately, luke-warm and average, at best. I've had better. But it was still tasty. Don't let my so-so dinner scare you. Some of my friends had a small sample platter and they LOVED it. They all raved and were so glad they ordered it. Have I emntioned the AMAZING drinks??? They have an assortment of different Mango drinks so everyone ordered something different. I had the BEST Mango Daquiri ever! Okay... I had two. :) And some of their chai tea. A little bitter for my preference, but I love sugary stuff. The best part of the evening was when the waitress brought us a free dessert for my birthday. It was some kind of Mango cheesecake and it was yummy!!!!!!!!!! I would return just to have a bunch of different Mango treats. :)
- Pros: Tasty Mango Treats! Friendly service
- Cons: A little on the pricey side
Food, Service and Ambiance Are All Excellent

Just visited the Bombay Grill for the first time tonight and had a perfect evening there. My date and I both felt that the food was excellent and even though the restaurant was busy the wait staff was very attentive and were genuinely interested taking care of us. We also felt that the ambiance was just right. Not too light or dark, very clean and well maintained. We'll be back.

We're originally from Delhi and have been looking for a good North Indian restaurant for a while - and we've found what we've been looking for!
Great place, very warm and welcoming staff - the owner takes a lot of personal interest in making sure our experience is a great one -every time. The food is great - the naans and rotis - just like you'd get in Delhi!! Highly recommended!

Great food. I have been coming here for years. The tandori chicken and chicken tikamasala are delicious.
- Pros: Great food
- Cons: Parking can sometimes be tight, but they do have free parking

I went there on my Birthday with my wife. It's a very nice cozy place. The food was awesome. Get the Thali dinner, they have put in every Indian variety possible inside the Thali. The owner Rajan came and introduced himself and chatted for sometime. He gave us complimentary home made parathas, which literally melt in your mouth. My wife ordered the Himalayan korma, which was also very nice. At the end when we were about to leave the owner came out singing Happy birthday with Mango ice-cream (kulfi) complimentary with a candle, since my wife mentioned earlier about my birthday. The ice cream was really good, too bad we could not finish it as we were full. Highly recommended, great food with excellent corteous service.
Average Indian Food

Went to Bombay Grill recently, and I thought the food was decent, but nothing spectacular. The chicken dish that I had was mostly, but not all, white meat. The tastes were spicy but a bit bland.
