Great local alehouse

Ignore the review where the reviewer says they were asked to leave because their son was "having a hard time". This is code for "my son was crying or being otherwise offensive and I decided to let everyone else in the restaurant suffer". Parents that let everyone else suffer their crying babies are incredibly annoying. You signed up for the baby, nobody else in the room did, OK?
The food here is decent, but stay close to "normal" food. i.e. the burgers are great, the salads are very decent, and the sandwiches are great too. 4/5 on the food for sure. The service is friendly, quick, and reliable. I've been to this place maybe a dozen or so times in the last 6 months and have not been upset by the service once. I'm pretty picky too.
On Fri and Sat nights, I advise that you not arrive between 5:30 and 7pm - you'll wait for a table. Sammamish is in dire need of more restaurants! During the week you should be fine to get there at any time but you might have a short wait if you get there with everyone else at 6pm.
Beer here is good - nice local rotating selection.
Overall, it's one of my local favorites and I'll continue to go there every week or two.
You should go somewhere else

A friend introduced me to the Pine Lake Ale House early this year and it quickly became my regular place to stop every other Monday to sit at the bar to have a drink and dinner. Occasionally a friend and I would stop for a nightcap, so I was not a stranger. The food is typical pub fare, which I like, and was always tasty. They also have my favorite beer, so I was set.
But be warned, the staff is very unfriendly, someone I once brought with me used an even better word - rude. They were often too busy gossiping amongst themselves to refill a drink when asked for one. Trying to make a little small-talk would seem as if you were ruining their day. Even a simple hello to someone working there would often be met with scorn. The only time they were friendly was on your way out the door when you would get a sweet "Thanks, stop again!" as if it would make ammends in those last few last seconds.
I did not feel welcome here, and would rather spend my money somewhere I did. I will not be back again.
- Pros: Good food and beer
- Cons: Most unfriendly place around

VERYYYY average food and service. It is somewhere to go because there is nowhere else to pick from. Stinks inside and is not very clean. When sitting at the bar you can watch how unsanitary the kitchen help is. Soooooooooooo GROSS! Will not dine there again after seeing that.
Don't go with young kids

Even though a friend said it was slow and unacceptable service we went back again but we were asked to leave because our son was having a hard time. We were told that people were asking for there check and wanting to leave but we knew 3 other families there....uh yeah. It was Wednesday night before 8 pm. My point is .... Go to the Mexican restaurant across the way I guess they know how to accommodate families. This restaurant could use some sound panels in general and if they want to just accommodate the over 21 crowd they should say that because they have lost our business for the long run, many other places around here to eat!
Great Local Beer Selection!

Went last night with my wife. Pretty busy on the weekends so we waited at the bar. I've always appreciated their large assortment of local brews, especially the manny's and mac n' jacks. We waited for about a half hour and when we checked the list they had skipped over our name. However, I was very impressed how the waitstaff handled it. He immediately apologized and seated us promptly in a nice corner booth big enough for 6. I had the turkey club and my wife had the BLT. Both were above average. The portions are very generous and the fries are great! You gotta try the Monte Cristo! Wow!
Overall, I recommend but not the best date place in the world.
- Pros: Monte Cristo Sandwich, Service is exceptional
- Cons: not a large food menu

The wait staff there is great. They are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to help. Good selection of beverages and some nice options on the menu.
- Pros: The servers are great. Food is good. The hours are appropriate for their niche.
- Cons: The kitchen closes too early.
Good Food

Great lunch and dinner food. Fish and chips and clubhouse sandwich are fabulous. Great service as well. Ambiance is what it lacks. Not a lets hang out atmosphere.
- Pros: Food, Service
- Cons: ambiance
Great Place!

Visted for the first time recently and cannot wait to go back. Service was excellent, the place was packed for a Friday night and we had a bit of a wait as to be expected. Highly recommend their burgers and fish and chips which are done in Mac & Jack's. Some of the best fish & chips I've ever had.
- Pros: Affordable, Great Food, Great beer selection
- Cons: None!

Simply Amazing...

I've been a regular at the Ale House for well over a year now. I moved into the area and this was the only place open my first night. The bartender that night let me stay until she shut it all down and gave me a tour down memory lane of the area. It felt just like a 'Cheers' moment.
It is one of the friendliest, laid back, fun places to grab a beer and a bite. They have a great rotating selection of micro's and a few staple beers that compliment their menu perfectly.
I highly recommend the BBQ Burger (with bacon added) and their steak tacos.
The owners & staff are amazing and I'll keep coming back day after day.
- Pros: Beer Selection, Staff, 'Cheers' atmosphere
