Best Coffee in West Seattle

I love this Ladro on California Ave. I tend to be a California Ave. woman, whenever I venture to White Center/ Westwood, I have to deal with driving, parking problems, rude drivers, and just weird service from the businesses I have been tried. I like to keep giving my business close to home and stay on California Ave for the good food, fun shops, and just a better vibe from the people, and the businesses. I love the sofas, and the sweets too -home-made banana walnut bread, and the mocha's are a great combo. Yummy, and gives me my caffeine fix for the day, everyday! The staff is wonderful, the coffee is great, and either lounging there, or on the go, this is my coffee place of choice!

In Spanish, Caffe Ladro means "coffee thief," and, as its name suggests, these neighborhood coffeehouses have clearly made off with a number of caffeine fans from the nearby chains. Customers toss their coats over their chairs and the regulars feel comfortable leaning over the counter to use the phone. A variety of pastries are available to munch with espresso drinks--a slice of deep dish fruit pie is a filling, if totally unhealthy, lunch.
