Rick Bort is MY MAN!!

by json206 at Citysearch

My buddy and barber, Rick Bort (owner), is the cleanest barber in town! From straight edge line-ups to complete styling he's a master at what he does! And also, I NEED to mention that his style and fashion appreciation shows from his newly remodeled Barber Shop, the haircuts he gives all the way to the outfits on his back! I recommend you swing by the 5th Ave Barbershop when u come into the Greater Puget Sound! Most definitely worth the commute wherever your coming from! See u there!!!

  • Pros: Knows how to RUN a business!

The Best Barbershop On The West Coast!!!

by mscafuri at Citysearch

I've been getting my haircut regularly at 5th Ave Barbershop since I moved out to Seattle in 2005. Dillon is a perfectionist and my hair always looks great after he cuts it. Rick has also given me haircuts numerous times and it always looks perfect. These guys are a great team and I would not go anywhere else. 5th Ave Barbershop can always accomodate my busy schedule and is open 7 days a week. Dillon is so good that I used to commute 30 minutes each way from Snoqualmie just to get my hair cut by him. Besides being a great barber, he is a good friend and I wouldnt recomend any other place besides 5th Ave Barbershop to get my hair done!!! Thanks guys and I will see you soon!!

Go in, Get a haircut, leave, look good

by damnshame123 at Citysearch

I've gone to the 5th ave barbershop quite a few times now since moving to Seattle and couldn't be happier. I was worried I wouldn't find another stylist like mine back home but Dillon has stepped up and has given me haircuts that look even better! Now I'm all set and won't go to anyone else. The vibe with the guys that work there is always laid-back and I like that.

  • Pros: laid-back vibe; can do hip styles or the old school look

Dillon at the 5th Ave ROCKS

by mattjmag at Citysearch

If you're looking for someone to make you look and feel like a million bucks, schedule an appointment with Dillon! Dillon's experience shows as he always takes his time to methodically cut and style my hair just the way I want it. Dillon totally saved my hair after I really screwed it up trying to color it myself. I would recommend Dillon to anyone!!

  • Pros: Years of experience, convenient location, great prices

Dillon at the 5th Avenue Barbershop - Stylist for Life

by eganorion at Citysearch

Dillon at the 5th Ave has been styling/cutting my hair for nearly a decade now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Part therapist, mostly just a great stylist, Dillon can usually fit me in on short notice and is the hardest working stylist in Seattle, working Thursday through Monday 9-7 and sometimes 9-9. Dillon knows my deepest, darkest secrets but you're not a good stylist if you can't be a therapist, too. I've never had a bad cut from him and always look forward to my visits with him. As a guy, I may not have the most complicated hair in the world, but it's important that it be done right. Dillon - big gold star on your forehead. You're the best!

  • Pros: patient, friendly, talented, accommodating
  • Cons: None

A simply amazing beautyshop,

by SamSaysScrewit at Citysearch

The service, the haircuts, everythings great. I refuse to go anywhere else. It's cheap and high quality. You bring a picture of the haircut that you want in, and they can give it to you. I just got back from there and I am -Completely- satisfied!

  • Pros: The haircutters are amazing, I recommend Sherry.
  • Cons: It's not the biggest barbershop, but it's cozy.

I wont go anywhere else

by tubetcha at Citysearch

This shop is perfect for me. I've had my hair cut in supposedly bigger badder shops but none of them can touch the 5th ave barbershop. The shop is comfortable, stylish and skilled. The location is good on 5th ave so I can do many of downtown errands and shopping after getting my haircut. I've been going to Dillon for quite awhile now and he always has me looking good when I leave his chair. He's also a great listener when I want to complain about my crappy day. My neighbor gets his hair cut by Rick and he always says he'd never go to anyone else.

Excellent Experience

by BHamm05 at Citysearch

I've gone to the 5th Ave barber shop several times now, and have always had an excellent experience. I've tried out my share of barber shops, and landed on this one, as it is by far the best I've found, both in terms of service and the quality of their work. I get my hair cut by Dillon Riley, and have never had a barber take more care in making sure I get a great haircut. I'd recommend 5th Ave to anyone who is looking for a slightly more upscale place - downtown - to relax and enjoy the company while getting a haircut or a shave. This place has genuinely talented barbers, and is without the high price tag! And it would be worth your time to ask for Dillon.

  • Pros: Talented, friendly barbers, great haircut
  • Cons: none

Best haircut in the neighborhood!

by rjmartin at Citysearch

Dillon cut my hair today and I must say the gentleman does it RIGHT! I walked in at lunch time and had a great cut plus good conversation. As a newbie to town, 5th Avenue Barbershop is on my trusted resource list for Seattle. I recommend it.

  • Pros: Shear cut , time spent with barber
  • Cons: Maybe a wait if not enough stylists in shop

Good location, lively vibe and the hair cuts are always great. I've been having Dillon cut my hair for quite awhile and have referred many of my friends/co-workers to him.

  • Pros: Quality and location
  • Cons: No complaints
