User Reviews for Advanced European Service

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I dropped my car off before they opened. There is a mail slot on the garage door for this. They were able to get the work done on the car the same day. The charge was reasonable and alot less than the dealer. Tony gave me a bit of free advice on a couple of cars I had been considering buying which I found helpful. Overall a very user friendly experience and a good value.

I have taken my 2001 BMW 325i to Advance European Service on two separate occasions and will definitely continue taking my car to them. Service is top notch, absolutely no BS and they don' t fix things unless it needs fixing! Tony tells it like it is and a very reasonable and most importantly, ETHICAL, businessman!

Pros: Honest, responsive, ethical

Cons: None

I was given an estimate by this person for a transmission replacement, front brake pads, and a broken motor mount. I was suspicious about this as I was only having trouble with the engine stalling which was caused, as we found out later, by a bad chip in one of my keys. This estimate came to almost $4000. I then took the car to another mechanic who had moved to another town and who I trusted. He did a transmission service on it and checked the car. The engine and transmissin are fine, there is no broken motor mount, and the brakes do not need replacement yet. I guess because I'm a woman and a senior, he figured I was an easy mark. I'm not as stupid as I look!! Beware of these people.

Pros: None

Cons: Everything

Customer service is what we are building our reputation on...

Accurate and complete diagnosis of our customers vehicles is our number one priority. I am confident in our diagnosis of this paticular vehicle as well. Unfortunately we were not made aware of this second opinion and given the opprotunity to explain why we believed what we recommended was the correct course of action. We work very hard to be the best at what we do but when our customers feel we have fallen short of that mark, we encourage them to let us know directly and we WILL make it right!

I want to thank Tony and the crew for their great work on my vehicle. I've had bad experiences at other auto repair shops and am thankful that I happened on one with personnel who are professional in not only repairing my car in an expert reliable manner, but are client friendly, courtious and respectful. I never got the impression my car was less important than any others that pass through their shop. I am pleased with the overall experience and appreciative of their excellent service.

Pros: services, customer satisfaction, thumbs up
