This is a great place-- somewhat undiscovered-- to find new and used vinyl. Although the store's focus is hip hop (making up most of their stock), they have good selections of reggae, soul, rock and disco as well. The owners are friendly and will help you search for records they don't have in stock and are among the most fair when it comes to buy-or-trade. Listening station is not as flashy as some of the larger competitors but with local graffiti art on the walls and area DJs filtering in and out with familiarity, it becomes apparent that the people who run this charming store are not just merchants but proprietors of the art form itself. They are also very supportive of the local scene and, in turn, the local scene is supportive of them. We need more stores like this.

Cons: behind-the-counter selections are on the pricey side
