Ask for Stephanie
by 4girls at Citysearch
I have tried 4 different stylists at this salon because I love the location. Stephanie is the only one that gave me a good hair cut. She is great but it will cost you $65+ for a haircut. I don't mind paying that but I was really disappointed when I dished out $60 for the previous haircuts that were so bad. There seems to be a high level of turn around and Rebecca doesn't seem easy to work for. So . . . if you go, ask for Stephanie. Book in advance because she fills up fast.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM MONA!!!!!

Mona cut and highlighted my hair. Rather than focusing on styling my hair, her focus was on telling me all about the problems she was having with her live in boyfriend and complaining about the owner of the salon among other issues. The cut turned out being one of the worst I have ever had. The color leaked out from under the foil and onto my scalp leaving huge blotches of blond at the root line. It looked awful! Mona offered no remedy for the botched color job and dismissed the damage by saying that the product sometimes does that - the product not Mona! Later in the day my scalp started itching and burning. The next day my hair started falling out. By the end of the week I had lost more than half my hair and about 2/3 of the hair on the top of my head. That was over a year ago. My hair has not grown back. Prior to this I did get one or two good cuts from Mona, but her work was erratic due, I think, to all her emotional issues that she just could not stop talking about.
- Cons: LOST OVER HALF MY HAIR AND IT HAS NOT GROWN BACK!
Pleasantly surprised.

I hadn't been to Salon Rebecca in years, but I decided to go back because I learned it was under new ownership and I was curious... I got a hair cut and I must say that it was worth it. I have difficult hair to cut because it is very fine but the stylist that I saw, Mona, was wonderful. She was also able to show me styling products and tricks that I could do at home to create more fullness. I don't know if it is the new owner, but this place is different than before and I LOVE it! I felt taken care of and important. IT is a little pricey, but for that service and kind of cut i will definitely be going back.
- Pros: friendly staff, experienced hair stylists, good location
- Cons: a bit expensive..but worth it.
Worst haircut, high price

Terrible haircut! The cut style was no better than a discount hair cut place that are a dime a dozen in the area. The style is absolutely unwearable without a tremendous amount of effort expended on it. That is not the point of any hair cut that costs over $50! The reason people like me go to a salon that charges a premium is in the hope that the style is more wearable and less like a discounted barber shop....especially after letting the stylist (Mimi or Mini?)know that I want a cut that is easy to wear!
So, my quest to find a good salon in the neighborhood continues! The staff was courteous, hence the 1 star!
- Pros: Friendl Staff
- Cons: Untrained, unknowledgeable, unskilled
Why isn't this place closed yet?

It's been about a year since I went to Salon Rebecca, and from the reviews it doesn't look like it's changed! I went in on a Sunday, which I booked last minute because my boyfriend was coming into town after being away for 2 months. My stylist and the receptionist seemed to be the only people in there, and I noticed that it was very dark inside; almost too dark to see what they were doing. I figured it was atmosphere and went along with it. I had to wait quite awhile (about 15 minutes) even though I wasn't early and there were no other customers. I asked for a simple layered cut, a trim from what I had before, and was nervous for someone new because a beauty school-trained friend had been cutting my hair for years. The woman who cut my hair didn't talk much and I assumed things were going well. She pronounced me done, even though she hadn't styled my hair or even asked what I wanted (I assumed my cut came with a free style, as it does at other hair salons). When I stepped out into the light, drove home and looked in the mirror, I'd seen that she had only cut my hair straight across with some face-framing layers. Often when I get this cut it is necessary for the stylist to cut straight across, to get rid of split ends. But this was all I got. I frequently get coupons in the mail from them, with my name spelled completely wrong; I distinctly recall spelling my name over the phone a few times for the receptionist. All in all, I would much rather drive somewhere off the Plateau to get my hair cut!
- Pros: close to my home
- Cons: dark, poor service, didn't get the cut I wanted
The worst place possible
by akrl at Citysearch
Salon Rebecca is the most horrible place on earth! She is a joke and makes the hair industry look horrible. I don't see how she's still in business and why people even give her the time of day. The one person who's been with her the longest finally left!! YAY good for you!!! I feel awful for the poor girls at the front desk - Rebecca barks orders, yells and talks shiz about everyone in sight. I hope she goes under!! I'm sure she will in these next couple years...if not sooner! Let's all hope she does! I would not recomment this place to anyone. I wouldn't even give it one star but it's making me pick one.
- Pros: I'm sorry but I say nothing.
- Cons: everything! especially REBECCA
Owner makes Satan look good

Rebecca is evil. Her salon probably has the highest staff turnover of any business in the state. They either quit or get fired for ridiculous reasons. Rebecca has the worst temper and throws tantrums in front of clients, employees, and sales reps. It is a wonder she stays in business. Please do not support this salon, if she goes out of business you will be doing her employees a favor. Someone else will hire them.
- Pros: Rebecca's stylists are talented, good location, trendy decor
- Cons: Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca
Salon Rebecca

I am so excited to have found this upscale neighborhood Salon, we just move here from back East. My neighbor reccomended it. I was greeted promptly and handled very professionally by Danielle (the front desk girl) and was asked to robe for my service. The help yourself fresh coffee center was a nice touch.
Crysta was my stylist, who worked in the chair near the owner Rebecca. Rebecca introduced herself and was very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was very upbeat and the team was buzzing and laughing as they worked. My hair color and bob haircut was 'updated' and I have been getting complements galore! Crysta was very friendly and funny and really knows what she's doing. They sent me a nice card in the mail, thanking me for my business and I will be highly recommending Crysta at Salon Rebecca! I've already made my next 2 appointments and am bringing the rest of my family in as well. Thankyou Crysta!!
- Pros: great location, knowledgable staff, fun upbeat environment, professional, great products
- Cons: can't come up with one

I use to be a client of Stephanies for over 5 years. She has left Salon Rebecca. I recently wrote a review and left my e-mail address. Thanks for all the people that have e-mailed me to let me know where to find Stephanie. For those of you who dont know where she is she is now working at Sorella in the Issaquah Highlands, a GORGEOUS salon and spa. Once again thank you to the loyal patrons that let me know where to find her.
- Pros: location
- Cons: no more stephanie
Going Downhill Fast

I'd been a happy customer of Rebecca's for three years, but my last three haircuts have been subpar. I don't know what's going on with her, but she now disregards what I ask for, and the haircuts are shorter than what I want, uneven, poorly structured, and require a mountain of product to look halfway decent. There's always been a fair amount of turnover at the salon; perhaps the business is struggling or she is otherwise distracted, but my recent cuts are simply unacceptable at any price, let alone the $80 she charges. I don't mind paying top dollar for a great cut, and I will certainly miss the convenience of a salon here in Sammamish. I'm now off to Obadiah at the Bellevue Hyatt; I've long admired their work on several business acquaintances. Gorgeous environment, lower prices, evening hours, and Bumble products.
The owner is evil

Dont go there!!! unless you want to be insulted and verbally abused by the owner
