I've been collecting and making scented oils for years, and this is the best selection I've seen anywhere in Seattle. They even have the very hard to find herbal oils from India. The owner mixed my favorite blend (sandalwood, vanilla, and vetiver) for me and I don't think I'll bother mixing it myself again, this blend is just how I wanted it. I've never reviewed a store before, but found this place two weeks ago and have already been back three times. Now I can't imagine going to Broadway and not stopping in.
Pros: selection, helpful staff, quality

I was introduced to Uncommon Scents on a friends recommendation. They have everything you could possibly need to scent your home, car, office, and even yourself. Amongst the selection of oils, scented candles, and incense, is a vast array of great gift ideas including jewelry, handmade boxes, all natural body care products, music, tapestries, and local art work. Even better, in most cases if you don't see quite what you are looking for, the owner can special order what you are after. The owner is very knowledgeable about his wares, and is eager to impart that information with his customers. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for something to help set a mood, enhance the aura of a space, find a unique gift, or to just obtain something to cure the common smell.

Found this store by accident from a person handing out pamphlets outside the door with a 10% off you purchase coupon. The guy there really knows his stuff, and is happy to share information and help. The selection is great, and he will special order for you at no extra cost. The ingredients are pure and natural, and their products are superior and reasonably priced. If you buy candles, oil, incense, or soap, it is well worth the trip to check it out.
Pros: service, affordably priced, quality products
Cons: lack of parking
