This is NOT my favorite pilates studio in Seattle. The trainers here are not the friendliest nor the most patient. The last instructor I had there was rude and seemed bothered when I didn't remember the routine. I would not recommend anyone to go here. There are far better pilate studios in Seattle with nicer staff and that cost less!
Pros: Easy to get to and free parking.
Cons: Unfriendly instructors and it was expensive.

I've been coming to Metropolitan Pilates off and on since early 2005. It's expensive, but when I started, the instructors took wonderful care of the clients - getting all necessary equipment, cleaning up, asking questions about the clients' needs, general state of health, etc. I felt I got what I was paying for. That has changed. I've gotten to know new instructors recently, and they were cold and disinterested, not starting on time, talking to other instructors, etc. The final straw was my last visit with a new instructor. She looked like she had rolled out of bed, asked NO questions about the state of my body and barked commands at me that made no sense. She told me to get up and get my own equipment, and made me clean all the equipment while she stood and watched. I couldn't believe it. I asked clarifying questions regarding the moves several times, but still couldn't really get what she wanted me to do. After telling her specifically that there was much I wasn't up to (having just had a baby), she still had me doing exercises I could not do, once nearly bringing me to tears. Multiple reminders later that I was in terrible shape (my whole reason for being there!), she finally got it, but still gave incomprehensible directions. It was a humiliating experience, and my last time at this studio. For these prices, I expect more.
Cons: Decreasing instructor quality
