Amazing waxing!
by kettlekorn
My friends and I have been going here for years, and we always tell everyone about it!! Wax On is the only place to go for brazilians. The few times I have been unable to get in at Wax On and tried a different spa were hugely disappointing (ie the wax takes three times as long, or patches of hair were left, bleeding, bruising, etc.). Now I have learned to book my next appointment before I leave. Trust me, go here and you will walk out with a smile on your face and a smooth secret your man (or woman) will love!!
Best brazilian ever!

The girls that work here are easy going and make you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is very casual, you can even help yourself to a shot of whiskey in the waiting room! You will not find a quicker, more thorough, or less painful wax in Seattle to save your life (or your crotch!!).
Response from Wax On

This email is in response to noelleinseattle and any current or potential customers. I?m disappointed to hear about this experience. If a customer has an experience that was not up to their expectations, I prefer to personally hear about it. One, it provides feedback that the esthetician and I can review together and use as a learning experience. Second, sometimes clients have bad reactions due to the products we are using and/or the medications they are on. This information is key to finding a solution that works best for both the customer and Wax On. I want everyone to have the best experience, guaranteed, when they come to Wax On.
Additionally, it is true that Wax On doesn?t have receptionists. By having an esthetician available it allows a customer to review any questions or concerns with the wax services and/or procedures we provide. I feel people like having direct contact with our estheticians especially because the services we provide are very personal and many people feel shy about it.
Lastly, I encourage my estheticians to take their time and not overbook their schedules. However, I know the estheticians always want to please our clients; sometimes people are happy to wait or be squeezed in just so they can see one of our women.
Again, I appreciate feedback. It is valuable to me. One of the best ways to reach me is via email at waxonspa1@yahoo
Thank you for your patronage and support for 10 years!!!

WORST waxing experience EVER!
by noelleinseattle
Let me preface this by saying that I have had many Brazilian waxes over the past 5 years. I am a huge believer that this is a service everyone should make a part of their regular personal maintenance routine. I relocated to Seattle not long ago and found Wax On spa after doing extensive research online. Let me just say that my appointments at Wax On were the most excruciating waxing experiences of my life. Waxing is by no means painless under the best of circumstances, but this is ridiculous. I saw 3 different estheticians trying to find a good one (including Stephanie who seems to receive rave reviews here) and all were AWFUL. I left bleeding, bruised, and unable to walk without great pain. They also do not seem to employ a receptionist, so frequently when you have to make an appointment, it is a multiple step process of waiting for them to return your phone call. They run people through at a dizzying pace, and as a result, they cause physical damage to their clients while also doing a shoddy, incomplete job. For those who have only had experiences with Brazilians at Wax On, go somewhere else. You'll thank me for it.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Service, atmosphere, incomplete work, unnecessary pain, bleeding, and bruising
i cant wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I just had our very first Brazilian waxes (our first waxes of any kind!) at your Belltown location. Melissa was a doll and took care of us in every way! She made us feel absolutely comfortable, which is very important for that kind of service! We were very impressed by the professionalism, courteousness and overall atmosphere of WaxOn Spa. I have already made our next "maintenence" appointment, we're hooked! We love you guys, you rock!! Thanks for everything & we can't wait to see you next month!!
- Pros: everything! excellent customer service, friendly atmosphere, comfortable environment
- Cons: its in seattle and we live in bremerton....
I left disappointed
by sesmith1
Not at all what I expected from a salon that does waxing exclusively. I got my eyebrows waxed and it was basically one strip above, one strip below on each. There was nothing waxed between my brows or any tweezing or trimming done of any sort. It has been quite a few months since my last waxing, so it did need to be done. I ended up having to do it myself when I got home. I have had better experiences at many other of our city's salons. Also, the atmosphere of the room is quite stark, not warm & inviting at all. The table was covered in basic towels and offered no head or neck support. I would suggest spending $5 more and going elsewhere. I will not be attending this salon again.
- Pros: Quick appt set up
- Cons: Didn't take time, bad parking
Best wax in town!
by jjgreen44
I've always had a good experience here. I've tried alot of places but this is still the best wax in town. I usually see Sandy but have had good waxes with some of the other gals when she was not available. Would recommend this place to anyone!!
- Pros: very professional and polite staff, reasonably priced
- Cons: Belltown can be a hard place to find a parking spot.
Worst Waxing Experience Ever
by getlifestyled
By nature 'hair removal' isn't supposed to be like a vacation, but when you add to the fact that you are in a stark hosptial like room, with a blinding bright light glaring you in the face it doesn't help, no ambience at all, and that's just the begining. I had a brizilian and was left with torn and bleeding skin, bruising and after all that she didn't get everything. It bordered on traumatic. the wax they use is too hot, and doesn't come off easily.
- Cons: terrible ambience, low skill set, unpleasant experience.
Great wax, see Stephanie if you can get in, get some shea butter, your skin will love you!
by kapopple
I get waxed by Stephanie, she's great, really a lot of fun (I can't believe I'm saying that about waxing). I moved here from L.A. and missed my waxer, felt doubtful that I'd find someone that good. I picked up the Crave book and found Wax On. So lucky. My only complaint is that it's getting harder to get in to see Stephanie. So now I book in advance. Something funny, I was bragging about my waxer to a new friend and she asked me where I went, I said "Wax On". When I told her who I saw for my services she fell down laughing saying "I see Stephanie too!!!! Isn't she great!" Oh, and more shea butter please, that stuff is incredible.
- Pros: Services, Shea butter
- Cons: Harder to see Stephanie
Somewhat inconsistent
by lauracancan
I think it can be up and down at this place and this time is was a miss... It cant always be great but I have been having some hard times with inconsistency. oh and when skincare is an afterthought that is exactly what you get, a subpar treatment. Goto other places for skin treatments....
