I want to recommend Naomi to anyone who is as big of a massage junkie as myself. You will not be disapointed!!!!! Go for the 90 minute....it is worth every penny. I read a few reviews on here with some complaint about the bathroom being out and down the hall.....after a massage like that who cares!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy!!!!

Best massage in Seattle!!

Definitely on my list of top 3 massages ever. For the first time in a long time I have absolutely no pain in my back or neck. I forgot how it feels to be completely comfortable. I have paid twice the amount for less than mediocre massages. Prices here are very reasonable.
From the moment you walk in it's very relaxing. Soft, quiet, relaxing music and lights dimmed. The massage rooms are off in the back, away from any noices and I didn't hear sounds from the city at all, like I have at several other places. Shawn, my massage therapist discussed with me the massage that would work best for me before he started. He managed to find every single knot I had and worked them all out. Afterwards, the receptionist gave me a couple people to call to get a haircut. My current stylist left and I've been struggling to find a new one. By far one of the best places I've been to. Can't wait to return. I'll definitely be trying a mani/pedi along with a massage next time.
Thanks Ananya!!!
- Pros: Best massage in Seattle and very reasonable prices. Everyone there is super friendly

Amazing facial, zen spa

This place is too cute. It is quite cozier than most places I have been to. When you walk in you instantly feel relaxed by the candlelit room and the quietness of the place. The facial I received bas a perfect balance of clinical and rejuvenating, with the best massage I have ever received in a facial. I will send all of my friends and family here.
- Pros: very private and quiet
- Cons: none
Certainly not the best

I guess I just don't understand how this spa could have won for best facial. Mine was average at best. I've never had a facial before where the technician didn't use steam to open the pores before extraction. And after a very nice arm and shoulder massage while the mask was on (very nice touch), I was looking forward to the face massage...but it never happened!
The facilities are makeshift at best...super dark, beds are a bit hard, fan blowing right on you, bathroom outside) but I would have ignored all that if the facial were top notch. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the hassle of commuting and parking.
- Pros: People were very nice
- Cons: Not worth the trip

Dear client, thank you for visiting our spa. I appologize that you didn't recieve a top notch service with us. We certainly do want to make sure each client feels like they are recieving one of the best treatments they could get. Please get in contact with me at the spa and I would love to treat you to another facial. My name is Juliane.
Kind regards
With a name that means "unlike any other" in Sanskrit, this relaxing spa is a welcome - and unique - sanctuary from Belltown's hectic pace.

In Short
Enter the door, take a right at the desk and walk through the hanging velvet curtain into a sanctuary, where twinkling tea lights, a babbling fountain, muted lighting, comfy chairs and Asian-inspired accents help everyday life melt away. Massage is this spa's specialty, offering Swedish, deep tissue, sport and Thai varieties given by the eminently capable owner Julianne, but a wide assortment of specialty facials are also popular, from moxy-caviar to vitamin C. Formerly Ananda Spa.

My daughter and I were spending some time in Seattle and wanted to get a massage. We had read the reviews saying that Ananda spa was rated as having the best massages, but we had heard those words before and been bitterly disappointed. We had 2 different therapists (I hope I get their names correct) Naomi and Jose, both were excellent. If they are representative of the therapists there, then they do have the best massages. Let me add, my daughter is a massage therapist and I frequently have massages, so I think we are in a good position to judge.. Keep up the good work!!!

Best brazilian waxing anywhere, Incredible customer service!

I have always been a big spa goer, but this is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a review. My experiences at Ananda Spa have been so wonderful that I have to put the word out! The decor is beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. The same can also be said for the staff. They are always kind and eager to accomodate your needs. Specifically, after years of truly horrifying waxing experiences at other spas, I had come to believe that I was just one of those women who was too sensitive for waxing. My past experiences had been so bad that I even thought I might have a skin allergy to the waxes and sugars. I had finally given up on waxing when I began to hear great things about Ananda Spa. I figured I would give waxing one last shot. I was seen by Julianne, who is also the owner. I told her my terrible history with past experiences and she was so incredibly nice and PATIENT with me!! She did it slowly and used little tricks and methods specific to my sensitivity. I was shocked at well it went! I now see her regularly and it only gets better with every visit. So it turns out, I never had an allergy, I just hadn't found the right person. I cannot say enough great things about Julianne! She is amazing! So ladies, if you have any fears or reservations about waxing, or even if you are a seasoned waxing vet, you have to check out Ananda Spa. You will be so glad you did!!
Best facial.

I have worked in several spas around the seattle area and the facial I recieved from Julianne was the best! The room was super cozy and comforting after my rainy seattle walk. Julianne is super friendly and has an amazing touch. She used "Pevonia" products for my supersensitive skin. My skin felt super soft and healthy and I'm loving the products at home. My facial was finished by the most amazing neck and shoulder rub, I was ready to schedule my next massage with Julianne. Altogether a great spa experience I would recommend to all!
- Pros: service
- Cons: parking
