I woke up one morning with a very bad back spasm. It was hard to get out of bed let alone get into my car and drive somewhere to receive a massage. My girlfriend reccomended Cy, at this Spa. I called and was able to get in that day later in the afternoon. I was so sore and stiff I really didn't expect much from one visit. Cy assurded me of his experience with spasms and so I tried to relax. He did a type of injury work or Lomi Lomi? I think, anyway I felt great, really great afterwards. I could bend over and move like the spasm never existed. Cy showed me some expercises, explained about water, which I don't drink enough of other than what is in coffee and beer. I also have insurance which will cover more treatments too. Happy to have met Cy and this Spa. I will be back.

Pros: parking, experienced, convienant, care and results!

Cons: had to pay for it.

I fractured one of the bones in my forearm about 6 weeks ago and still couldn't straighten my arm out all the way. Cindy, their massage therapist who focuses on treatment, did an awesome job both relaxing me and taking care of my arm! She explained what she was doing and how I can help my arm heal more quickly at home. Cindy even had enough time to release all the neck and shoulder tension I had and give me a fantastic back massage on top of it! The day after the massage I was able to straighten my arm with minimal discomfort. She'll be seeing me soon, even when my arm is fully healed!

So i have a had a couple of massages, and i do have to say that this was a great experience. Me and my mom got the girls day out package from my/our aunt/sister. I have never been somewhere where they treat you so well, greet you at the door, feed you lunch, give you great conversation. It was a pleasure going and it was nice just to sit and chat with Joyce (the owner). Thank you again...I will defiantly be back

Absolute Bliss. Been there twice and both times have been fantastic. The facial is wonderful and so very relaxing. The Head and Shoulder massage is heavenly. Joyce is fantastic at what she does and does not try to sell you a load of products, but gives her advice in a very casual, non pushy way. Can't wait to go back again for more pampering. Thank you.

I first went to The Spa.....as a gift from my son and his wife for Mother's Day and have continued to go since. I have done a facial, pedicure, and mostly massages from Joyce and her professional staff. I have always had great service with a special touch on each occasion. It is a great, private atmosphere, relaxing, and a wonderful way to get away from the busy lives we all lead. Schedule a special session with a friend or family member and enjoy the time together, or just pamper yourself. Joyce can set up the occasion to meet your needs. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

I normally don't write reviews, but I just had to, this time. There has been so many great reviews about Joyce and her spa and the experience being so wonderful. But I just have to say that my experience was TOTALLY not something to rave about. I had my first appt. cancelled less then 24 hours before and she said that she was so sorry, that she would throw in a 30min complimentary massage. I was excited about that, so to me to reschedule, was no big deal. My appt. time finally came and I was getting rejuvenation facial. She was out of the room more then she was in the room. She massaged my face and shoulders with some special oil, she washed my face, she used steam and she used the Vitamin C/Green Tea mask, but that was it. When she looked at my paperwork in the beginning, she said that she would look at my face under a light and perscribe the best facial treatment for my skin. That NEVER happened. When the mask was on my face, she was out of the room for the whole 10-15min. When she put steam on my face, she was out of the room the entire time. I think Joyce was in the room, for only about a total of 15min the entire time. And that was only to spray the aromatherapy mist, wash my face or apply whatever mask so that she could leave for the next 10-15min. Needless, to say that the complimentary massage that she said that she would throw in, for cancelling on me in the beginning, NEVER happened. Then when I was ready to leave and she has the water for you to drink, she proceeded to lecture me of why I needed to drink my water. I told her my opinions about it and she definitely did not like someone disagreeing with her. I would never go back or recommend this place. I have had other facials at different facilities and to me she seems like a fraud, because in real facials, they actually look at your skin, do extractions. Anyone, can throw masks on your face, spritz aromatherapy in the air and wash your face. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, in my opinion!.....

Pros: NONE!

Cons: Service was TERRIBLE!

I have been treated differently... I bought a 5-treatment package and she only gave me 4 treatments. When I asked for detailed dates she gave me the dates that two facials done only one-week apart. Overall she is very skilled and knowledged about skins. I'd continue to buy another package but I guess she doesn't care.

I live in New York and my girlfriend lives in Seattle. For her birthday I suprised her with a "Girl's Day Out' Package at the Spa for both her and her mother. They absolutely raved about the experience and loved every minute of it. When I told the owner (Joyce) who and why I was buying the package for, she even went out of her way to order a birthday cake for my girlfriend. I highly recommend this place to anyone! (especially other guys out there looking to get their significant other a great spa gift).

What a fabulous experience! Not only a highly experienced aesthetician, but a total comfort zone. The Spa has it all, relaxing music and surroundings, aromatherapy and neck and shoulder massage. My skin glowed and felt wonderful, can't wait to go back this month! Thanks Joyce for your TLC!

I have heard nothing but great things about the massages at The Spa...for the woman who cares. I can't wait to get mine soon. I also have to say that the owner has been gracious to the community of Bothell, WA! She has donated several certificates to the UWB for numerous events, and all the staff members here love the services! Thank you!
