I don't know why, but this sandwich sounded odd to me too before I tried it. Holy mole is it good. I dream about it. It's a full 12"ish chorizo (small diameter- so not overwhelming), and comes with caramelized onions, grilled peppers, and fresh cilantro. Man. I'm hungry. A friend and I often go around 2 and there is usually a place to sit (there is probably a total of 20 seats, and the food is great, so be prepared to battle for seating once in a while). Their beet salad is a wonderfully simple plate of sliced cooked beets with a drizzling of olive oil and fresh pepper. So yummy. The truffle fries are worth the $2 or $3 hike in price (compared to the non-truffle oil tossed) - if you've never had truffle fries, you will crave them frequently after you indulge. They offer Thai iced tea and/or red wine, as well as Cricket soda, orange/lemon pelligrino, or just a glass of water. Order at the counter and the food is brought out to you at lunch. I've never tried dinner, but would be eager to...it's nice to see they're open late on weekends. Parking can be a B so enjoy a stroll down from the Hill or up from downtown. It's dangerously close to both. Just save a spot for me, alright?
Pros: such great food!
Cons: not much seating/parking
