Pabla Indian Cuisine is the Best place to eat for Indian Food, I love it! The quality is amazing, so is the environment. There is also an indian store inside the place. I want some right now! Go eat there, you'll love it, if you can handle spicy food.

Great food

Firstly, if you have not noticed already, this is a pure vegetarian restaurant (no meat, no fish). I am vegetarian and Indian and this was a big plus for me. The food is flavorful and authentic. I wish they make their samosas fresh rather than refry it. But, they still taste good. I like their Pabla special chat (which has fruits in it). Their chole is great too. I have lived in cities where we eat this as our staple food and I can vouch, they do the dish very very well!

Parking is not a problem at this place. Service can be a little pleasant with the waiters being more friendly and courteous rather than so abrupt when some people new to the cuisine asked questions.

The place is very simple and the interiors have nothing to boast about.

Go here, if you like good Indian veg. food and dont bother too much about the service!

Food is average but service is poor.....

If you want to spoil otherwise good evening go to this restaurent. The waiters attitude is 'why the hell did you come here, we are already worked to death'. One waitress in particular is very rude. Three of us went for lunch , she did not even serve the beverages properly, made it very uncomfortable for us. We were nice to leave a good tip.

Great south Indian food

by kmcgladr at Citysearch

Pabla is a perennial favorite, and I've never had a bad meal there. Then again, I'm vegetarian and like spicy Indian food, so your mileage may vary. It's often very quiet there for dinner, which is matched by the demeanor of the friendly and unobtrusive wait staff. The food is good, the portion sizes are generous (Vegetable Biryani weighs in at about a pound or so), and the ambiance is traditional. My singular complaint is that it's not possible to get a beer at Pabla.

  • Pros: Food, Ambiance
  • Cons: No IPA, location

Tasty

First of all, I must admit I am vegetarian so this restaurant gets automatic bonus points for not serving meat. It's kosher too, if you're Jewish. I have been here several times and found the food to be very good and service acceptable. Nice tacky paintings on walls. And it's attached to a grocery store / sweets shop so you can do some shopping if you're waiting for take-out.

  • Pros: Food
  • Cons: (nothing bad enough to gripe about)

Incredible!

I'm not a vegetarian but Pabla is the only Indian I eat now. They know my husband by name and even give him cooking tips. Each meal is a symphony of spices and decadent sauces. It's simply amazing, I could go on and on. Their paneer dishes are particularly good. Try their homemade naan with their succulent lentils........to die for! Save room for a wonderful dessert!

  • Pros: indian grocery/bakery, frozen desserts, exquisite main dishes
  • Cons: strip mall location

Simply fanastic!

Okay--already wrote a review and I don't see it, so here goes a slightly shorter version. Food=unbelievable! I'm a big food snob and a vegetarian, so imagine my delight in this quality of food in South King County! Substantial meals (no meat will be missed here) huge menu variety, very friendly staff. I will be eating here at least once a week now that I have found it. Meat eaters will love it too. Everything is wonderful, but I am still i nawe over the Eggplant Bhartha WOW!

  • Pros: Fab food, nice people, great service, did i say great food?
  • Cons: , who cares!
