This is my first effort at writing a review, but I felt this was an important one to write. My '94 Stealth decided to burst the clutch slave cylinder in the middle of an intersection a couple of weeks ago. I did not have a mechanic for the car yet, as I had purchased it within the past year. I read the info on the Wilson Bros. web site and it looked good. I appreciate that they are a local business, and I could walk and pick up my car if needed. Also, I figured how could I go wrong if they guaranty their work for a year! So, I was very happy to hear when I called, that they knew how to work on the mixture of Dodge/Mitsubishi - it made my day! The guys talked me through replacing just the slave and the benefits of doing both the master and the slave. I felt NO pressure to spend spend spend : ) Their estimate and actual were very close in total, and was what I felt was very reasonable for the work done. I also know that neither I, nor my knowledgeable about cars friend could have even have begun to repair the car -so I left it to the experts! Thanks guys for such great work done to repair my car - now it can truly be called my "fun car" again! I loved the dogs in the shop too - toooooooo cute!

Pros: Very helpful, knowledgeable, kind and courteous gentlemen. One day turn around!

They are really horrible. Don't believe anything you read on their website. You would be better off taking your car somewhere else. I think that Matt goes on this website and posts good reviews about their business because they know how horrible their rating would be without their "glowing" reviews. If you want your car done right don't go these idiots.

I have a 2005 Subaru and have taken it to the dealership (Carter) for all repairs so far. But when I called to schedule my 30k service, they told me it'd be $680! That seemed crazy, so I decided to make some calls. I called a few independent service centers, based on reviews here on Yelp, and decided to go with Wilson Bros. Not only did they give me a competitive quote of $450, but they go great reviews here and were very nice and quick on the phone. I brought the car in, was told they would call me when they figured out the exact price, and that I could pick it up after 5pm. Well, they called at 3pm to say they were done, and not only that but that they checked the spark plugs, which are supposed to be changed at 30k according to Subaru, and found that they were probably good for another 30k. They left them where they were, which saved me almost $100! The total price of the repair was HALF what I was originally quoted by Carter. Wilson Bros. has won a new customer. I have found my shop, and I will never go back to the dealership. Give the boys at Wilson a call...you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Cost, expertise, effeciecy

Cons: None

They really don't have any idea what they are doing. If you want your car worked on right when you don't have to bring it back the next day I recommend that you do not go to these guys. The main mechanic claims to have "years of experience" but it isn't true. My car wouldn't have been messed up if he had years of experience.

Pros: none

Cons: everything

I went in for a ball joint repair on a '93 ford explorer. They took two days (I had told them that I wasn't in a hurry). The reason they gave me for taking two days was that they did not have a specific tool (!?!) Okay, fine --When I did retrieve my vehicle, the price was $170.00 over the estimate !!!!! The reason I was given was that they had to take my explorer to another Salmon service center in the U district to get it aligned. They charged me $99.99 for that !!!????!! WTF! Why am I responsible for them not having the proper tools ???? The U-district is only about 10 miles away!!!! And why must I pay for it? I was not satisfied and will not return !!!

Wilson Bros Automotive rocks! After taking my car to Wilson Bros, I will never take my car anywhere else. Matt and Adam are so honest and trustworthy. They explained to me what was wrong with my car, what I need to fix now and what I may not need to fix right away. Their prices are fair and I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of girl who does not know anything about cars. I highly recommend Wilson Bros. for all of your mechanic needs.

Pros: Trustworthy, price, location, customer service

Not only did they over charge me, they took forever to get my car fixed. I would have been more patient if they had been honest from the get go about how long it would take to fix my car. The repairs were minor and whenever they called, they made it seem as if they had already started the repairs when in fact, they had barely looked at it. Not only that, but they tried to sell me on other repairs I didn't need. The final straw was when I asked them to fix another unrelated part of my car and they didn't do it. That was fine though, I would rather take my business elsewhere. They will fix your car whenever they get around to it, charge you too much and try to sell you on other repairs. Look into other repair shops, don't get taken in by their fancy website like I did. Overall, very dissapointing.

Pros: They are able to fix your car.

Cons: They take their sweet time, over charge and try to talk you into other repairs.

Matt and Adam know their stuff. Simply put, these Bros. do pro work for what they said it should cost. It's unfortunate there's so many shops that don't run as fair a business as these guys.

I decided to try these guys instead of my dealership, and I'm so glad I did! Finally, an auto repair facility I can trust--I needed rear breaks, and they were totally honest about everything, didn't try to upsell me, etc. Matt and Adam know exactly what they are doing, and I encourage anyone to give them a try... they have a great website if you're looking for more info.

It's hard to find a good auto mechanic, but these guys definitely fit the bill. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for auto care that's both reasonably priced and high in quality.

Pros: Convenient dropoff service, great customer service, quality repairs
