LAME Sportsbar- Went to watch NCAA March Madness Tournament and they did not even play the volume of any game as the bartender was more interested in listening to his raggae music than having any volume for the Duke game against Belmont. If you like fern bars that do not care about sports, fans and want poor service go to this lame pathetic place with lousy management at least on this opening day of a real sports event.
Pros: NONE
Cons: LOUSY SERVICE....

About 4 years ago, I lived in the neighborhood and this place was wonderful. After attending this past weekend, we WILL NOT be going back. The server had two tables (we were one of them) and we had to beg for additional coffee and fetch our own additional place settings, etc. There is a shrimp and grits dish where the menu claims is made with sweet potato grits - but the sweet potatos were non-existant. Frustrating because that was part of why we ordered it. Some of the other dishes we ordered were just alright - nothing to send a postcard home about. We were asking so many questions (coffee, etc.) the server was done with us before we even had our order taken. Very disappointing; we will not return.
Pros: Sports TV
Cons: Service, Service, Service, accuracy of the menu

eddulac, do you own a competing restaurant by chance? I have been to Buckley a handful of times since discovering it last year and I have never been disappointed with anything, except maybe finding a seat during a good soccer game or other sporting event. The food is not only far above average for a sports bar but better then a lot of up-scale restaurants in the area. The beer selection is second to none and the bar tending staff is the friendliest in the city. A must go if you are a sports enthusiast or just like a great meal.
Pros: Food, service, sports and beer
Cons: free parking

Discovering Buckley's was a zen moment for me. I first sought it out when they were progressive enough to be ahead of the smoking ban and I have loved it ever since. The environment is equal parts cozy living room and sports den. The pub food is excellent and I have yet to go have a bad meal. I recommend any of the salads and I never ever go wrong with the chicken club. The place is well managed and the bar tenders and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you are looking for a friendly watering hole, in a fun and more grown up environment than the typical downtown lounge or club, this is your place.
Pros: The food, staff and beer selection
Cons: bar area can get crowded, so I guess the secret is out

This clever bunch was able to move the bad review down a few notches and their wonderful piece of self advertisement back to the top. City serarch?...are you being impartial?
Pros: ...
Cons: being open

I love Buckley's. I really think they're the best burgers in town. Now that we can all get over the novelty of "American-style" Kobe burgers, we can focus on real quality -- that's what Buckley's is all about. And, it's not just the perfectly ground, flavorful beef they use; the bun itself is worth note. It's just a little different than your typical bun, but soooooo much better. Their other sandwiches are great and several of the ap's worthwhile, but it would be a sin to miss their burger. Otherwise it's a good brew-type pub, comfy and woody --by the way, did I mention how great their burgers are-- that's easy to find and parking's not bad considering how close they are to Seattle Center.
Pros: Great staff -- incredible burgers
Cons: I haven't figured out how to get burgers for free yet

It's rare to find a restaurant that will let you bring your dog on the patio, but mine was welcome and given a dish of water to drink while we ate. The food was great, the drinks were delicious (try a blueberry lemondrop!) and our waitress was friendly, and made us feel really comfortable.
Pros: Friendly staff, dog friendly, good food and drinks
Cons: None

I love this place for casual dinners or to watch a game. I've been here about four times and it's always been good. The club sandwich and french dip are both delish, and they come with sweet potato fries that have made me crave coming back! The menu is mostly bar food but it's good food and moderately priced. Lots of different beers on tap. The bar kind of reminds me of Cheers. Only downfall is it's hard to find a parking spot.

What a great spot! It's Non-smoking, great food, I LOVE the burgers, and the Pasta Primavera (get it with prawns). We go there for breakfast and football on Sundays. They have the BEST Bloody Mary's served with a beer back (all the mid-westerners will appreciated it). They have a hugh Hi-Def Flat screen over the bar with the NFL Package, and MLB package too, so I've never missed a game. The overview says not Kid friendly, but it is, that have a kids menu, and crayons etc... I would recommend reservations, especially with a large group, 'cuz I think the word is out!
Pros: Free Wi Fi, Kid Friendly, BLOODY MARYS

Buckley's is a great place. The food is always wonderful, and their selection of wine is nice, not to mention the great service from Steve at the bar. It's so nice to have a non-smoking restaurant/bar with sports on flat screens TVs. The other great thing is there always seems to be a close parking spot, even though the place is busy.
Pros: Non-smoking, Wireless connectivity, parking
Cons: None
