Pizza on the other hill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Not a blip nor a blog not even a clip to snip, but it is here...Via Tribunali is atop of the hill -- Queen Anne that is! I had been to the Capital Hill long ago and just loved it but alas that Hill is just too far to trek. I moved from Belltown to Quenn Anne and have suffered in the land of the boring with no wine to speak of but now I can eat, and more importantly drink again, in my neighborhood. I came upon Queen Anne Tribunali by chance and found more than just great food but Trevor from Queen City Grill as well. I had heard he left my watering hole for the Sorrento -- boring...not to mention so terribly expensive! I gave up having him pick a wine for me ever again. As I walked my dog up Galer and saw the party at the new spot I went in to see waha was up and was told it was Via T and Trevor too! I was in Friday and pathetically Sunday too (they have only been open since Thursday) and what a joy! The best pizza, fantastic service and great wine -- what took you guys so long?!?! So the pizza is unbelievable -- try the DOC. It is fresh and cheesy and just plain great. I had a glass pour the first night and a bottle on Sunday. All the wines are Italian and not expensive, ask Trevor to help if you cannot decide. The Salame (pepperoni) is so yummy -- and I mean yummy. I had never tried dessert at he Capital Hill restaurant and I could just shoot myself now. I had a Nutella calzone and if you like Nutella, all you need to know -- Nutella baked in pizza dough and oh my god................need I go on? So if you love really perfect pizza, pretty girls, super service, great drinks and even better wine then see you at Via Tribunali on Queen Anne. It is on W Galer in a little brick building away from the regular stuff on Queen Anne Ave. Parking is easy and even better if you can walk. Queen Anne has arrived...Welcome Via Tribunali and thank you for coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: food wine service location

Cons: none!

Insider Tips

Look Good

Servers do their best, but even a brief Italian vocabulary will help diners immensely: "pomodoro" is tomato, "funghi" is mushroom, "mozz de bufala" is fresh mozzerella and "acciughe" are Mediterranean anchovies.
