Great Find

by thecityismyrunway at Citysearch

I just moved to Seattle and LOVE this shop. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The clothes are hot and the selection seems to change a lot. I would send any of my fashionista friends there.

love la rousse!

by natives at Citysearch

This is a great boutique- friendly owner, not pushy and a GREAT selection of clothes and accessories. There is a nice price range too, something for for everybody! I also love Laddie, the sweetest 3-legged pup around!

I have bought jeans, a dress, a belt and a tank top to name a few, wearing them all over and over!

Young clothes for hip urbanites at this Belltown women's clothing shop featuring lines just on the verge of discovery.

by Anna Roth at Citysearch

In Short
Plain white walls and a shiny tin ceiling enhance the vibrant colors of the shop's hip clothing lines. Owner Amanda scours trade shows and other venues to bring new lines to Seattle, showcasing unique clothes from up-and-coming designers that aren't found in the bigger department stores. Bags, shoes and locally designed jewelry are also in stock. The splashy paintings on the walls are part of rotating shows from local artists.

La Rousse is the coolest boutique in Seattle

by jadecity at Citysearch

Having lived here for 6 years, I've heard people rip on Seattle's lack of style countless times ... these people have not been to La Rousse. The clothes you'll find there are a perfect mix of darling to edgy. Whatever hole you have in your wardrobe, La Rousse has something to fill it. I've also noticed that the local artists on display there have been fabulous. Right now, George Perrou's work is up -- it is delightfully colorful, and very reasonably priced. One last note -- new clothes, shoes, handbags and jewelry are arriving all the time -- so it's worth making La Rousse a regular stop in your browsing routine.

La Rousse is the best boutique in Seattle!!!

by leanne at Citysearch

This is truely the best store in the city. You can find an outfit for the day and the night and even the office. Everything is so stylish and I do not feel like I am 36 trying to be 21. The new knee length jean is way to foxy and they fit very well. I also got a hand knitted beautiful wrapy scharfy thing from Masha Oxaniou Design, HOT!

Thank you Amanda!

  • Pros: sophiscitated, sassy, stylish
  • Cons: none at all

Thank you Amanda!

by cforbes at Citysearch

Seattle needs more boutiques like La Rousse! I needed a dress for a work Christmas party and needed to look conservative, but I am so not! So I ended up with this sexy slip dress and Amanda special ordered a silk and cashmere sweater/blazerish jacket to wear over the dress. I went out afterwards to an afterhours and rocked the slip alone with nothing else and got lucky (or rather he got lucky)!

  • Pros: small sizes in stock, location, no pressure
  • Cons: parking

Cool Clothes & Cool People

by kstar74 at Citysearch

La Rousse has some of the most stylish clothes to ever hit the streets of Seattle. The people who worked there were super helpful--I've never looked better than in the pair of jeans they found for me. The atmosphere is modern, the artwork (photography) eye-catching. And to my boyfriend's delight it was true about the video games! A needed addition to this part of town.

  • Pros: Helpful Staff, Unqiue

Exactly what Seattle needed!

by grabiquity at Citysearch

Great store, staff, location, everything! Very stylish selection of reasonably-priced & tres chic togs for happening ladies. Exactly what Seattle needed. If you have men in tow, there is a chill out lounge with an XBox & plasma screen to keep them occupied! Plus be sure to say hello to Laddie, the sweetest little three-legged dog you've ever seen. Thumbs up - grab your girlfriends, have a cocktail at Lola (just around the corner), then go sass it up at La Rousse.

  • Pros: Inexpensive, Stylish, Unique
