I've been working out at Bodytonic for about a year and am loving it. I relocated here from New York and tried out 3 different studios before deciding on Bodytonic. I choose Bodytonic based on: 1)Atmosphere - The studio definitely has the best atmosphere of any of the studios I've visited. The teachers and other clients alike are all very friendly and down to earth. The studio is totally cute and housed in a super cool historic turn of the century building in pioneer square and they play awesome music (which definitely helps inspire a good workout.) 2)Instructors - The instructors are well educated and a perfect balance of kick your a**, yet nurturing, supportive, and inspiring. They always keep me on my toes and keep me challenged, no cookie cutter workouts here. Plus they have always have been so accommodating with my schedule! 3)Pricing - Their rates can't be beat! I also have to mention that since working out here my chronic shoulder pain has been alleviated and I've dropped down a few sizes. Love it!

I have been working out at Bodytonic for close to 2 years and I dont have a single complaint! Nadia is an excellent instructor, she is also a really great gal. I am often impressed that she can be so flexible with people and their schedules and still run such a great little studio. Her customer serivce is exceptional and you won't recive this kind of specialized care at a larger pilates studio. If you are looking for a fun but challenging workout then this is your place!

Pros: good price, great location, excellent customer service, fun atmosphere

I've been going here for 1 1/2 years and enjoyed every minute of! Nadia is experienced and great at helping you work on your deficiencies. I have a bad back and bad knees, which have improved greatly since I've started working out with her. She's also very flexible and fair in regards to scheduling and makeup sessions. Overall it is well worth the money and parking hassle!

I have been training at Bodytonic Pilates for over one year and have had an excellent experience with both the training and customer service. I have found that the training with Nadia is a great addition to my other workouts/activities. I wanted to comment on the review by munich8 and say that I have never had a problem with Nadia's customer service. Her cancellation policy is very clear and reasonable. This is a small business. When someone cancels at the last minute, there is not enough time to fill that spot and the studio essentially bears the loss especially if the person canceling tries to do their "make up" by adding it to their next package. It is possible that a larger studio might be able to accommodate last minute cancellations but I doubt that they will be able to provide the training and service that Nadia and Erin can provide. I would highly recommend Nadia and Bodytonic Pilates.

Pros: Staff, Location, Environment, Music

Cons: None

Hello, this is Nadia, owner of Bodytonic. First off, I'd like to say that I'm very sorry to hear of Jenny's disappointment in the service she received at my studio. Had she made me aware of this in person, while she was still attending the studio, I would've done my best to rectify the situation for her & her husband. In understanding that emergencies ( health & otherwise) can arise with little notice I have a make up class procedure implemented at the studio. This system enables clients who have to miss (with or without 24 hours notice) a class they are scheduled for to sign up for make-up classes so they don't have to miss out on classes they have paid for. We do ask that students sign up for make-up classes while they are currently in a package (not after they decide to leave the studio). I had already extended the 24-hour cancelation policy for Jenny & her husband 1-2 each, so at least 3 times they did not pay for lessons they had scheduled and the studio took the loss, after this I felt it appropriate to hold them accountable to the make-up class procedure that most students really appreciate. I'd also like to add that the studio does have a referal incentive program, for each friend you refer who purchases a package you receive 15% off the purchase of your next package. For the 3 clients Jenny did refer she received $100 in discounts. For more studio details and client reviews, please check out our website: www.bodytonicpilates(dotcom) Thanks!

I attended private and duet lessons with Nadia for about 4 months and referred 4 people to her studio. I thought the instruction was good, but the customer service was lacking. A few weeks ago my husband hurt his neck the day before he was to start a new package of duet lessons. He emailed Nadia the morning of his lesson and told her about his injury and said that he would like to postpone his package until the following week. She responded with a series of emails about how this would be unacceptable and he would need to sign up on the make-up board for a make-up class. I realize that policies are there for a reason, but I would think that an injury would qualify for an exception. My husband decided to just cancel his package (which was scheduled but not paid for), but Nadia demanded that he pay her $38 for the lesson he canceled due to his neck injury. She said he could transfer this lesson to me. He agreed to do this. (FYI--$38 is the price of a single duet lesson, not the price that a duet lesson that was in a package, which would be less.) I brought in a check to Nadia at one of my lessons and she said nothing to me about it. After my current package ended, I asked about using the transferred lesson at my normal time and Nadia said that was not possible. She said that I had to use the transferred lesson as a make-up lesson, so I would have to sign up for a new package and then come in and sign up on the make up board. Isn't this whole thing extremely difficult and ridiculous? It is no wonder that I have decided not to go back to a studio that treats its clients this way. Now instead of having 2 customers who continually buy $200 packages, she has the check for $38 that she seemed to want so badly. I will be finding another Seattle pilates studio--and there are plenty to choose from--that values its clients and customer service a little more.

I've been working out with Nadia for a few years, it does'nt seem that long..... time flies when you're having fun. It's great working out at this fully equipped pilates studio. Nadia is very knowledgable in all the excercises. She makes subtle corrections in your movements that help perfect alignment and work all the correct muscle groups. You leave feeling like "this is crazy", having worked muscles you never thought you had. She definitely gives you a routine that is right for you! The prices are very reasonable as well.

I have been doing pilates for a couple of years and have been with Nadia most of that time. She provides a good strength training work out - I prefer not to lift weights - and the side benfits are increased flexibility and balance. Nadia is very personable so we wind up laughing alot when I'm at the studio and I also find her very approachable when I ask to shake up my work out. If you're interested in trying Pilates this is the right studio.

I have been working out with Nadia for about 2 years now. She is an extremely competent instructor and has very reasonably priced packages. She is very knowledgable and good at keeping students on track. At the same time she is fun to be around and the studio is a comfortable, colorful & upbeat place to be. I definately look forward to working out because I get to go to such a pleasant place and get great results at the same time!

Pros: Effective Workout, Fun, Hip, Upbeat, Parking Easy

I've worked out at a number of pilates studios through out the city, Bodytonic Pilates is by far, the coolest, most fun Pilates studio in Seattle! Nadia has created a vibrant, positive, and supportive environment. Her classes are both nurturing and challenging. I lost 3/4 of an inch around my waist by my 5th workout, her pilates being the only changed variable in my health routine at the time. Amazing, this is the studio to be at!
