Calidora- The BEST of the Best!

Let me start by saying I am over 50, but people always say I look like I'm in my 30's- and I owe it ALL to Calidora and Leah!!

I've been passionate about skincare all my life, but never found a place that really made a difference in my skin until I found Calidora four years ago. I've been everywhere from Nordstrom’s to Gene Juarez to "skin boutiques" and have never seen results like I have there! Calidora uses pharmaceutical grade products and are results-orientated. The experience there is nothing like the fluffy facials you find elsewhere. From the moment you walk in the door to days after you leave, the people that work there genuinely care about your experience and your skin! They have definitely created a client-for-life in me!

I refer all my friends to Leah! She always maximizes her time with me and pairs an effective, aggressive treatment with massage and tlc. My skin loves her and you will too!

The products that Calidora carries pair well with their facials- results results results! Leah always has great suggestions for me but there is never pressure to buy. I buy them when I feel like my budget allows, but always look forward to hearing about any new products that could boost my homecare regimen.

The price tag that goes along with the treatments might seem like a lot, but so much is included in each treatment that you need not worry you are getting your money's worth. A light chemical peel or microdermabrasion is included in the price of the facial, not an add-on like at some places. Their lasers are on the cutting edge and are administered only by medical practitioners who have undergone rigorous training.

Basically, I think Calidora is wonderful and I don't understand how someone can have a bad experience there! I recommend it for EVERYONE!!

Awesome service--even better results!

OMG--my skin is glowing! Thank you Shelley and Lynn! I've gone to a dermatologist for years but my skin has never looked better after 4 trips to calidora. The staff are so friendly and helpful -- I would highly recommend!

True Fan!

I have been back multiple times and a bunch of my friends are going now. I have had 3 facials with Amanda and I get some “procedures” with Carolee. I have probably been a total of 7 or 8 times and I love it. It is the first time I have really enjoyed a facial and thought that it made a difference in my skin-not just someone rubbing my face and trying to make me buy products (which I did, by the way. All my cleaners and lotions are from calidora now too!). I actually noticed results from the facial with smoother skin and had multiple people comment on how great my skin looks. I have also always had great service and the staff is wonderful. Thanks Calidora!

What a rip off

I have not had a good experiance at Calidora the Botox treatment I had lasted approximately half the time it has done when I have had it done elsewhere. They are constantly selling to you and their services are significantly more expensive than other places in Seattle. The staff at UV were patronizing and rude I felt I was an imposition to them and they were dissapointed that I would not sign up for the many thousands of dollars worth of treatment they said I needed. This suprized me as many people compliment me on my skin so why they insited I needed all these treatments just proves they want your money and don't care if you are happy or not. I will not go back there again.

Calidora saved my skin!

I was considering going on accutane to tame my problematic skin. I decided to check out Calidora and see what they had to offer. They did a complimentary skincare analysis and recommended that I do a series of laser treatments to clear up my skin. It worked and my skin is amazing and blemish free after 6 treatments.

I'm really happy with the results and the people were great!

Big disappointment

I was really excited to take my mom to Calidora for an afternoon on Mother's Day. We had 2 appointments for facials. I got a call in the am from the receptionist saying that one of the esteticians was sick. I was really bummed of course and was sort of disappointed that they didn't seem to make much effort to do anything else. Not another service/location etc..I decided to just let my mom take my appointment and when we showed up early they had scheduled her for the wrong treatment. The treatment they had her down for was going to take up to 2 hours and we didn't have that amount of time so I had to cancel that appointment too. They didn't seem to feel bad at all that our afternoon was completely messed up, and I had gotten a sitter and everything. When we were walking out, the receptionist said "do you want a free water?" I almost laughed. I emailed the director at Calidora after my experience just to give her feedback on how the front desk staff handled the situation and never heard back. Total disappointment in their customer service!

Great Professional Staff - Not So Great Treatments / Business Practice

I have had several treatments at various Calidora locations and have always enjoyed my interactions with all of the professional staff. I have had good results with removing broken capillaries as well as facials. Unfortunately, the most expensive thing I've had done - a series of Titan treatments - has had a very disappointing outcome. I had 4 treatments done within the recommended time frame, about a year ago. After each treatment, I experienced skin tightening immediately, but then it would quickly diminish. I was told that the overall effect could take months to see. It never happened. My skin looks exactly the same as it did before I started the treatment. I am wary of Calidora for recommending such an expensive treatment that provided no results. And one other thing....my boyfriend went to Calidora to buy me a gift certificate for a present but wasn't sure what a reasonable value would be. The front desk person asked him my name so that she could look up the treatments that I'd had so she could recommend a reasonable amount for the gift certificate. She told him that I'd had my capillaries zapped, and that I'd had a series of treatments to tighten my sagging skin....and I had not intended that he know that information about me and I felt that was a breach of confidentiality! I was pretty alarmed when he came home and rattled off the treatments I'd received there!

Very Disappointing!

My visit to Calidora was incredibly disappointing. I have had microdermabrasion in the past, coupled with microcurrent, and was very pleased with the results. I am new to Seattle, and went to Calidora for these same services. Somehow, the fact that that I had requested the microcurrent with the microdermabrasion was not passed on, so I never received this. I only received lots of various lotions applied to my skin--even before the microdermabrasion, which I feel reduced the effectiveness of the procedure. Secondly, rather than watching my skin improve over several days following the procedure, I could not even tell I had had anything done to my skin after 24 hours. Furthermore, the cost of Calidora's microdermabrasion was 40-50% higher than the more effective services I have received elsewhere. I will not return to this salon and regret that I gave them my money in the first place. I feel they got quite a nice fee, and I received a very poor service.

Love Looking In The Mirror Now!!

From my first consultation to my second facial -- I have loved every minute at Calidora! The staff is extremely helpful and nice -- something you usually do not see from posh places like this. They make me feel so welcomed there! When I first went it, the woman who went through my consultation was nice and eagar to help me! My facials from Meaghan are absolutely wonderful! She really understands my goals and wants for my face and every time is a pleasure! The extractions hurt -- like everywhere -- but the results outweigh the pain! My face is in better shape than ever -- THANK YOU MEAGHAN!! She didn't try to pressure me into buying the skin products for sale there. I have become hooked and have told my family members to go-- which they have and are now hooked as well! My only issue is that I find myself looking in the mirror too much because my skin is gorgeous!!! Thank goodness!!

• Pros: Front Desk Staff is Super Sweet -- Excellent Service
• Cons: A little pricey for a college student like me -- however, its worth it!
