AMAZING SALON!

I have been going to Mode Organic Salon for a year now. What can I say about the salon is just one thing..AMAZING! the facial is always fantastic as usual!Krisitin and Jonnie are awesome! I had combination skin before (Oily in T area and dry in cheek area) and they required me to use the skin care, and right now, my skin is really soft and my T area is not that oily anymore. Beside that, those ladies shape my brow really pretty. oh couldn't happier than this! I love my brow! I usually get my brow wax once a month! and after I get my brow done, most of my friends say "wow! where did you get brow wax? I love it!"

Next, all hair stylish in mode organic salon are awesome! Last time, I had my hair cut with Selina, Monica Rose and Chelsea Duke; and I had my hair color/foil with Heidi and Crystal !and...I usually get my condition treatment at Mode too.. one who did for condition treatment was Michael..he knows hair and my hair look so great after the treatment. Just let you know that I always feel beautiful after I get my hair done at MODE! I think all stylish at Mode organic salon are professional and awesome!

I love Mode Organic Salon! I feel like HOME when I go to Mode! The place is so cozy and the smells naturally good. it's a great place to get relaxing too! you can get drink for service and scalp and hand massage when you get haircut or color. Moreover, you can have massage chair while you wait for your stylish or esthetician come to you.

it's the best salon in Seattle. Mode has great organic products, professional hair stylish and esthetician. The people are really nice, almost on time appoinment all the time and the staff are so friendly and caring. HOW I LOVE MODE! It's a little bit pricey, but it's an amazing salon; therefore, it is worth to pay.

Amazing What a Good Cut Can Do

I've been going to Joe for cut and foil color since I moved to the area 2 years ago, and I will never go to anyone else. He costs more, but I'll pay whatever he charges in order to love my hair.I have long, very thick, kind of frizzy/curly hair that can be a challenge. For the first time in my life, I like my hair when it air dries. After 20 something years of blowing it dry straight, it's a refreshing change... and the color is always so lovely; I get lots of compliments. Thanks Mode!

Outstanding Service!!!

First of all, Mode Organic Salon gets points just for being what it is: an organic hair salon. It is a wonderful thing to have the choice to go and get my hair done without having to breath in all the fumes from all those harsh and harmful chemicals found in so many hair salons. Secondly, I absolutely love my stylist Selena. She always has a wonderfully positive attitude and I feel uplifted every time I go in to see her! Not to mention she accomplished a feat I hadn't been able to accomplish for 5 years now! I am a salsa dancer and I have never previously been able to get my hair to stay looking fab all night long due to the fact that in salsa dance there's a lot of spinning, not to mention that salsa clubs are usually hot and therefore sweaty which doesn't help my hairstyle either. Usually I end up sweeping my hair up into a ponytail because the style I had at the beginning of the night just doesn't look so good anymore...except for last night. I went to Selena yesterday evening, got my hair cut and she styled it into some soft feminine curls that I was sure would go pouff! after the first spin but I was wrong. When I glanced in the mirror mid-night and again on my way out, I was shocked to see that my curls were still in tact and I looked better than ever! Thank you Mode Organic Salon for living up to better standards and a big thank you to my stylist Selena for being so wonderful and for doing such an exceptional job with my hair!

Great Japanese Straightening

Been having my hair Japanese straightened for YEARS by the best in the US. Was a little nervous about going to someone else for the first time. However, Joe did a tremendous job and my hair came out soft, straight and with great body, which doesn't normally happen with a thermal reconditioning. The bonus is he gave me a wonderful cut AND colored my hair at the same time, which again doesn't normally happen. All in all, I would go back to him again in a heartbeat. You do have to do the mental math of adding the benefit of the cut and the color to get over the price bump, but it was worth it.

Excellent Waxing!

It took me several months to work up my courage to try a Brazilian, but at my first appointment Christine immediately set me at ease. She is fast, efficient and funny, and really made me feel comfortable. I have referred friends, female and male, to her for a variety of waxing needs. She is great!

Best Haircuts with Heidi in Seattle!

Heidi Molina gives the best haircuts, she pays so much attention to your hair and it's needs. She makes me feel like her one and only customer while I sit in her chair and she listens to your requests. Truely it feels as though her only goal is to make you happy and confident with a beautiful cut and style. She very professional and I wish I could fly out for every haircut. Unfortunatly, I live in Rochetser, MN but I do visit family in Seattle once or twice a year and every time I am there I make a stop at Mode Organic Salon for a cut with Heidi. Also I had the experience of a wonderful facial and brow shaping with Kristine and she did a excellent job. My face was perfectly exfoliated with no breakouts. My brows have never looked better. Thank you so much for the wonderful treatment at Mode, the staff is totally worth the money and more. Hope to see you soon.

Best Wedding Hair in Seattle and Great Color/Cuts

I regularly get my hair done by Sierra. I followed her to Mode and I'm so glad I did! Sierra is a really fun hairstylist. She does a wonderful job with hair, but is also a great conversationalist.

When I got married last summer, a few days before the wedding, I had to cancel with my stylist who was going to do my big fancy Art Nouveau updo, because she had a bad attitude and didn't really understand what I meant by "Art Nouveau updo," and she wouldn't meet me ahead of time to work it out. So just days before my wedding at St. James Cathedral, I had no stylist. I talked to Sierra, and she talked to the salon owner Joe, who agreed on short notice to get up super early on a Saturday a.m. with two other stylists to do my hair and that of my wedding party. Joe was amazingly professional, charged a reasonable price, and helped keep me calm on the big day. My hair was GORGEOUS. It looked exactly -- EXACTLY -- like the picture of what I wanted. I could not have been more impressed. The girls in the wedding party looked lovely too. Joe, you rock!

In short, Mode is not the least expensive salon in Seattle, nor is it the most chic-chic -- but it is my favorite. In fact, I recently moved to Tacoma, and I now travel all the way from Tacoma to have my hair done at Mode. Now that's love!

skin and hair

I got my facial for 1 hour. It's nothing special, but mode use organic products, so I can give plus for it.

I got my brow waxing and the result was average.

However, for hair cut. I can say AWESOME! all of stylish are professional and I had my hair cut with Selina and it was AWESOME! I love it. Thanks Selina. I have not done with hair color in Mode yet, but I would like to try someday. My friend did hair color and highlight in Mode Organic Salon downtown and it's really good.

I really recommended this salon for people who are looking for great hair cut and color.

and I love the cozy and pleasant place and friendly staff.

worth every penny!

with money being tight these days, mode is worth every penny! i see molly and she takes care of me like i'm royalty. i've tried several other dowtown salons and mode just gives you more and treats you better and uses high quality green healthy organic products. um what do those other places use? CHEMICALS. yuck. molly is down to earth not snobby like some downtown stylists, she's funny, artsy, and excellent at what she does, which is to not only make me look good, but feel good too! why would i go anywhere else. you just get more at mode!!! i'd give it 5 billion stars if i could.

Mode Organic Salon would get it!

Without going into the specifics, I had a small mishap with my color with one of the hairdressers. I wasn't very happy about the situation, so I emailed the owner (Joe Carling), who responded immediately. He asked that I come in so he could take a look. He agreed with the situation: however, rather than compromise the condition of my hair, he gave me some excellent products to use. I met with him a few weeks later and he added some highlights. The moral to this story is Yes: hairdressers can make a mistake, but with this type of customer service, you need never be afraid.
