I love Aly and La Luz Photography! She has taken photos of my son for a year - he is now one, and I couldn't be happier! She is so flexible and easy to work with and when you're taking photos of babies that is so important. Aly will go to you for a photo location and is so go with the flow! I not only use her for all my photography needs, but have recommended her to my family and friends! She just knows how to capture that special moment! I've worked with many photographers over the years and no one comes close to La Luz - don't have any hesitation about using them! Aly is amazing!

I called three times and wrote an e-mail and never heard back. Very disappointed. I trusted City Searches best of list but this one didn't work out well.

I think her website speaks for itself, laluzphotography! She's very professional, friendly, creative, talented and sets firm follow ups with her clients after every session. She is attentive during the ceremony, always on cue, never in the way, she works the WHOLE time, and she is a natural. She gets some of the most enthusiastic responses as well! I have never heard a <i>legitimate</i>complaint about her. I read many reviews on her and did my research, and her actual clients had no complaints. I think her style is lovely and she definitely captures the true beauty in moments and people. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*, you will be addicted, will use her for future boudoir photos, ooh la la!

Pros: professional, friendly, stylish, attentive, on cue, quality, not in the way, good communication, eye for detail

I am not happy with her service. She was rude during the formals, very obtrusive during the ceremony, and didn’t take the pictures that I specifically asked for. She disappeared after the ceremony and we actually had to find her during the reception to make sure that we got some pictures of us with the sunset. I feel like she just didn’t try very hard and I would not recommend her to anyone for their wedding, we are pretty disappointed with our wedding pictures.

Pros: she showed up

Cons: pictures were not well composed

Voted best photographer in Seattle for a good reason, Aly's work is PERFECT. I recently had bodoir pictures taken for a present to my husband. (which he LOVED of course). Aly was extremely professional and very easy to work with ( in a rather uncomfortable situation) :) She had her own ideas for positions but was also very open to any of my ideas. It was team work! Her prices are amazing for her ultimate quality of work .I felt like I should be paying her more! She has a very charasmatic personality and her talent is very apparent when I got my pictures back. The greatest thing is she gave me a disc with all my pictures on it so I can do re-prints whenever I want in the comfort of my home. No two pictures were alike.I felt like with every picture, she took great care in capturing. Overall I was incredibly pleased and I would recommend Aly to absolutely anyone and feel 100% about it. She has a great talent and I am so pleased to have found her. I will continue to use her for any photography needs I have in the future. Thanks Aly!!!

Aly was fantastic to work with on our event. We knew from her recommendations that she primarily photographs weddings, but she did a great job with our kids soccer camp! She took amazing photos without interfering with the camp or the instructors. Aly not only took great posed shots of the team and individuals, but she also took remarkable action shots while the players were practicing their moves. Aly was completely flexible with our schedule and a professional throughout the planning process. We would highly recommend her for any event.

Aly's business model is amazing! She comes to you! Where ever you want to be (your home, the park, Gramma's house...where ever!) Aly will be there too. She is pleasant and right away you feel at ease around her and her camera. We hired Aly to capture our daughter-as-a-toddler on film (before she grew out of that phase) and Aly showed up at our house on time, camera in hand and immediately put us at ease. We had a blast! We tooled around the house and yard, letting our daughter, Ruby, do all of her favorite things and wear all of her favorite outfits and Aly was right there the whole time, snapping away with her cameras. She was so good with Ruby! There was never an uncomfortable moment between the two of them. And then the pictures were posted for us online, and we got to tell our friends and family about it and they all got to pick out the photos that they wanted printed. The Grandparents were especially thrilled. What surprises me most is how the photos all look like elaborate set ups, but it was just Aly following my daughter around the house! She is a professional photographer who manages to create portraits with documentary style photography. If she wanted to, she could be an excellent photo journalist. A+

We used La Luz Photography for our wedding last summer. Aly was great to work with throughout our planning process. She responded to our calls and e-mails quickly and had great advice for us when we needed it. On the wedding day Aly was everywhere we needed her to be, and we hoped she was capturing the moments we wanted her to. Our families and bridal party were impressed with Aly's ability to manage the formal portraits. We were so excited when we got our pictures back. They were so much more than we expected. She got all the pictures we asked for, and many more that we love. We've already recommended her to friends and will continue to do so. She's so reasonable and her quality is high. What more could you ask for?

Pros: Beautiful pictures, good communication, great prices

Cons: Books up quickly
