Yummy Treats for the Plane

Thank goodness for Dish D'Lish at the airport! With a mid-morning flight to NYC I wanted a little nibble that wouldn't make me feel too full and got it with Dish D'Lish's fruit and cheese plate. Everyone in my row was jealous when the flight attendent came around with overpirced cold cheese burgers and I whipped out my treats. The service was quick and freidnly (as friendly as service can be at the arport)

• Pros: Fun atmosphere, great food
• Cons: Only avilable at Sea-Tac, there should be one in every airport.

Best airport dining!

I was thrilled to find a Dish D'Lish at Sea-tac! My friends and I had a long travel day ahead of us and didn't relish the idea of $5 airplane snacks. We had a tasty breakfast of egg sandwiches and fresh fruit and purchased our lunches "to go". When we arrived at LAX, we enjoyed our salads and sandwiches. I was particularly surprised at how fresh everything still tasted even after our first flight. Also, LAX had little to offer so we were really happy that we planned ahead. Dish D'Lish is definitely the way to go. High quality food for a good price with great service...you can't ask for more than that!

• Cons: None that I can think of...

One happy traveler!

I popped into Dish D'Lish on my way to Cabo last week. I needed a quick breakfast and food for lunch. If I'm going to pay for lunch, I certainly don't want the $5.00 "snack pack" the airlines offers! I had a great fruit salad for breakfast and grabbed a ham and cheese sandwhich for lunch along with an organic soda. I was really pleasantly surprised with the sandwhich as it turned about to be anything but typical. There was a d'lish chutney lurking beneath the yummy fresh bread. I don't know where they get their bread from, but it sure tasted and looked homemade. I am so happy I made this discovery at the airport. Now I no longer need to turn to fast food options when leaving from SeaTac.

• Pros: Convenient, Fast and so Yummy!
• Cons: They are yet located in every airport!

Great food for a long flight!

I'm so excited to discover Dish D'Lish at SeaTac Airport! As I was preparing for an entire day of travel I purchased fabulous goodies to take with me, including a very filling breakfast sandwich and a Chicken Caesar Salad for lunchtime. The egg sandwich I had was outstanding; highly seasoned sausage that covers the entire piece of grilled bread. The caesar salad has a bit of tabouleh on the side which really tasted great and was the envy of my seat-mate. I highly recommend stopping at Dish D'Lish as you head out of SeaTac...flavorful healthy food served graciously.

high-end and pre-made

I thought the food was ok.We ordered four items and they all tasted very similar.I personally didn't think anything stood out except for the cold food and my drink she forgot.Well, afterall it is a "togo deli".

SUPER YUMMY!

Dish D'Lish just opened up in Ballard and it's great! I've used Kathy's products for a few years and love them, along with her cookbooks. Her new shop on Ballard Ave is totally funky. I had the 3 salad sampler and I think I payed $6.99. I was kind of suprised as so many of the local chefs bank on their name and charge ridiculous amounts for really small amounts. It was a great size and I was satisified. I also have had the Tuna melt which is pretty damn yummy and I tried the granola with berries and yogurt and wow! Probably my favorite side is the potato salad. I usually only like my Mom's, I am a good German girl, but Dishd'lishes is to die for. I have been telling everyone about how great it is. I very rarely write reviews as I am in the biz, but I think this place is worth the rave!
