Extremely Satisfied
by Cal1001 at Citysearch
Meghan does an outstanding job and I've been extremely satisfied with the result. I've had the Signature cut 3 times and will be back. Paid a lot more for a men's haircut and gotten much less. Meghan rocks!
- Pros: quality job, professional, friendly
Great Cuts!

Had the Signature with both Brittany & Elicia on separate occasions. Both did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them and the services they performed.
- Pros: Relaxing experience; Taking time to understand what you want
- Cons: None
The Best Haircuts in Town =)

Hi! My name is Elicia. I have been with Weldon for almost 5 years now, and I now am settled in our Kirkland location. =)
I am a senior barber, meaning I am the most requested barber in my shop & my prices are $5 more than the other barbers.
So, all this talk of turnover, let me explain. At Weldon, we have VERY high standards and expectations. If your not cutting it, after mass coaching, there is not much for us to do but to move on. Not only do the employees have to be great to our clients, provide an amazing experience, give great haircuts, but they also have to be great team players. Yes, we made new rules, but it was only to raise the bar, setting high standards and to better our company. There is NOTHING wrong with that.
Weldon is an amazing company!!!! I love it & plan on retiring with Weldon. Brittney in my shop has been there for almost a year and a half now & let me tell you, she rocks!!! Meghan is our newby & employee of the month & cause she is awesome!!! All of the girls in my shop rock. We FINALLY have an amazing team!!!!
Trust me, if you come to Weldon in Kirkland, you will not be disappointed. I guarantee that! So come on down to park place & get the Signature, it will be your 30 minute vacation =)
See ya soon!!
- Pros: Great, friendly, experienced & educated staff =)
- Cons: High standards, so sometimes there is some turnover...

i worked at weldon barber for a year and at the beginning i really enjoyed working there. It felt like the company cared how their employees were being treated. 6 moths went by and everything started changing and for the worst. They were bring in new management and changing everything that was already working. Treating us like they did not care. It was ridiculous everyone was leaving because every week they would come in with new rules and things we had to do. It was no longer fun coming into work never knowing what was going to change next. From what i hear now they have a whole new staff everyone that once use to be there has now left, but dont get comfortable with any of the new girls they will soon be gone too at the rate weldon is going!!! My advice go somewhere else anywhere is better than there!!!
- Pros: meet some nice customers
- Cons: dont care about their employees
Spendy for an OK haircut
by rugbyprez at Citysearch
If you get the signature you will probably be dissapointed. The haircuts are ok. Attitude from some of the staff is great but they have HIGH turnover (the boss is apparently nutso). If you get the gal that gives you a "good cut" stay with her. But unfortunately she won't be there long.... So final word "the price doesnt match the experience"!
- Pros: Nice store, well decorated, easy parking
- Cons: staff changes all the time, price is excessive for what you get

Great Customer Service

Weldon is awesome
I am a frequent customer in the Spokane area, they completely accomodated a large group I brought to the Kirkland store for a pre wedding face shave. I called the day before, they made sure they had extra stylists in early to take care of our needs. 8 face shaves and about 4 hair cuts early in the morning with an appointment made the day before should have been a headache for their staff....but they came through nicely. My stylist made a point to listen to my concerns (trying to avoid razor burn..sensitive skin) and talked me through the process and explained everything that she was doing or going to do. I found it a treat to be taken care of even though I am not a regular customer at the Kirkland store
Nice work
- Pros: highly accomodating staff
Weldon, as unprofessional as it gets

I recently visited Weldon Barber to get a hair cut. The serivce I had was good but the lack of proessionalism was my concern. While I was in the chair I couldn't help but to over hear the Barber in the station next to mine. All she was talking about was getting "wasted" last weekend. She then proceded to talk about other employees and work issues with her client. I later found out she is the District Manager that also cuts hair from time to time. I was completely appalled at her choices of conversations and vulger language. I understand now why everytime I have come to Weldon's I have never had the same Barber twice. If I had to hear her talk like that all the time I would quit too. The service was great but I probably won't return again. I come to get a hair cut, not to hear office gossip.
Skip Weldon and find a regular Barber
by DigitalSherpa at Citysearch
I really wanted to like Weldon. They had been included in a write up in the Seattle Times, and are close to my work. Upon arriving, I waited at the front counter for over 10 minutes without being greeted by anyone. The haircut itself was below par (could have gotten better at SuperCuts) and the experience in general was very pedestrian. I'd sprung for their Signature cut which included a neck shave, scalp massage and grooming. I received only a two minute massage, and no grooming. Worst of all, the lighting was poor and when I got back to work I saw all the places she'd missed! I should have saved myself the $38.00 and gone to a regular barber.
- Pros: They were able to get me in right away.
- Cons: Lousy hair cut, too expensive, didn't provide all the services promised.
Bad experience
by steveoo7 at Citysearch
I just left the shop and am truly disappointed. The shop is nicely appointed and excellent male oriented atmosphere. I enjoyed the hot towels but the basic reason I went was to get a superior hair cut -which I did not get!. I think the barber must have just gotten out of pet grooming school. I have gotten many better cuts at Great Clips for half the price. I'll probably have to go to another shop just to have this terrible effort fixed- Save $25 and go to Regis or Great Clips!
- Pros: Ambiance
- Cons: poorly trained, poor value
