I will never go to any other salon--Sorella is fabulous!

I have been going to Sorella in the Issaquah Highlands since I moved there in Dec. of 2006. Every time I walk in the door, I'm greeted with a friendly hello and "Can I get you something to drink?" I get so many compliments on my cut and color--it's amazing. I always tell my stylist to do what she thinks would look good and every time I walk away more than pleased. She encourages me to take risks (like going from blonde to brunette) and I'm always amazed with the results.

All the stylists there are very competent--if my stylist wasn't available, I would have no problem going to someone else. I also love that they are a Bumble and Bumble exclusive salon (which means they only carry Bumble hair products) and I believe most of them have gone to NYC for advanced training at Bumble.

I would also recommend going to Sorella for their signature facial--Erin is the best esthetician and makes me feel so relaxed and pampered, I feel like a celebrity! My face has never looked better and the products they use are amazing and not too expensive.

All in all, Sorella is a fabulous salon!

• Cons: Make sure you schedule in advance, especially around the holidays.

Stephanie is awesome!!

I had been going to the same woman to get my hair cut just about my whole life. When I moved 25 miles away I decided to try a few new salons and I must say Stephanie at Sorella Salon is AMAZING. My super quick background - I'm not a huge fan of dramatic change and lately my hair is falling out to the point you can see my scalp. Ack! Well, Stephanie did not magically grow some more hair for me, but the cut is fantastic! I almost don't mind the thinning. The real test is when you get home and wash and style it and WOW! My hair looks just like the picture I brought in as a demo. I LOVE IT! I just about balked at the price of the cut ($75.00 before tip for a cut!) but it just might be worth it. Stephanie, thank you! (gave only 4 stars because the price was a little too high - the service was worth 5+ stars)

Finally found a stylist I'll stick with

It's been years since I've had a stylist I really connected with and wanted to go back to regularly. But Stephanie, at Sorella's, is fantastic. Usually I dread going to the salon to get my hair done and find it an ordeal, but Stephanie is just such a treat to chat with, that the time flies. She listens to what you want, she's amazing, funny, and just makes it a treat to get my hair done.

As for the salon, they provide a range of services (I used the one in Issaquah Highlands). They're a bit pricey, but what you'd expect from a spa/salon. I only wish they also did pedicures, as that seems a natural thing to have if you're going for a facial or a massage, etc. Staff was friendly; I waited a few minutes for my hairdresser, but was offered refreshment during my wait.

I'll definitely be returning...usually I go months between haircuts, but it's only been 4 weeks and I'm already booking myself for a return trip, and looking forward to it. I may even try out some of their other services this time.

I definitely recommend, if you're looking for a higher-end salon with the trimmings and don't mind paying for the pampering.

Avoid it at all costs or pay a price!

I went there recently for a haircut and felt very out of place. There was no friendly welcome. I seated myself on a couch and watched the other lady there get her drink! Was kinda hoping someone would ask me too! But no such luck! Then came the announcement my hairdresser was ready for me. Cut was O.K. not too bad, but not worth the price either. I guess conversations cost extra...unless maybe, just maybe you have fair skin and do not speak English with an accent! I am not one to shy away from pricey salons, went there all the time in California. Hence, I do expect friendly service with a smile. Even the chain salons I take my kids too seem to have better staff!

Best haircut I have ever had

I am usually a salon hopper, never been to the same place twice. A couple weeks ago I was desperate to get my haircut. My husband, the cheap @##^%$ that he is made me go to this awful salon in downtown Issaquah. I walked out of the salon before the guy even finished my hair...it was so awful. I walked into Sorella crying..yes crying in hopes to have someone fix it. I thought that there was no way possible anyone could fix my hair. The front desk girl was so sweet and was able to get me in with one of their top stylists. It was amazing. This is the BEST haircut I have ever had in my life. She was so awesome and had me in tears from laughing so hard. I dont know how she did it but she made me look ten years younger and Ihave had so many compliments on my hair. The best part--I can do it myself at home. I love her and I called to make my next two appointments with her already. Stephanie is a gifted cutter and she is hilarious. This will be the first time I have ever gone to the same salon twice. I will follow her whereever she goes. Truly amazing

Bad haircut, bad service

Have been there 3 or 4 times now since moving to the area. Each time tried someone new thinking I would get better service. But I noticed two things - 1) The hair cut itself was so very average I could have gone to a franchised hair salon that gives haircuts for under $20. 2) I was not greeted in a friendly manner akin to what others have said about them - no drink offered to me! Possibly because I am not fair skin or blonde? Instead they treated me like I do not speak or understand English!! No more benefit of doubt for them and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Great salon

The great services and customer service at Sorella are worthy of recognition. I work at Microsoft in Redmond and live in Issaquah so often go to both locations. I have never walked into either location without feeling welcomed and confident to change my look. I recently received a gift certificate from my husband for a facial (which I have never gotten before and was a little nervous about) and I loved it.

Overall, I would recommend the salon for the great services.

Personal attention and a great haircut

My haircut was great and the stylist fun to talk to. I am a guy and jump around to lots of different hair cutting places. I have been trying to find a place where I feel comfortable and cared for and Sorella is it. The staff at Sorella is very proffessional; my stylist had the skills for a great cut and did not wander off at any point. I have been to other saloons where the stylist just disapears for five minutes, but not here. The girls at Sorella were pros and they treated me great, even though I was a walk-in. Highly recomended!

• Cons: I wish they had more guy magazines in the waiting area.

Beautiful Salon...Great Services!!

I had an amazing experience at Sorella...The ambiance of the salon was very elegant! From the moment I walked in the door I felt like I was being pampered. The staff really went out of their way to make me feel that I was special. My haircut and foils were the best part..I have had so many compliments about the color and style. I will never go anywhere else!!
